This is a 1971 Ford Bronco Sport that has been garage kept and is great shape with a dry history living in Las Vegas Nevada for 43 years. I am the 3rd owner and have been continuing the restoration process here and there since I have owned it. I wanted to keep the original look of this Bronco so I upgraded some things that were better than stock. It now has two new fuel tanks w/ sending units, both tank straps, fuel filler hose, fuel pump, plugs, wiring, oil pressure sender, Silicone heater hose kit, coolant recovery bottle w/ stainless holder Edelbrock air cleaner w/ chrome covers, battery, pigtail voltage regulator, alternator harness, battery terminals, Warn cables, battery tray w/ holder, Amsoil high performance 10/40 synthetic motor oil w/Amsoil 25,000 mile oil filter, fuel lines with a new tuned Holley 570 avenger 4 barrel carb. Ethanol dissolves metal and creates a bunch of issues when is sits for a period of time.
The next part that I wanted to tackle was the Clutch and Drive Train which included new 11 inch Luk clutch, pressure plate, bolt kit, new fly wheel, roller pilot bearing, stainless (adjustable) push rod, clutch rod (metal) bushings that do not bind, new complete rear drive shaft, new transfer case yolk, new 304 stainless twin stick transfer case shifters for T type model 20 transfer case (works better than stock), new transfer case seals, 2 new turbo mufflers, fresh gear oil replacement, 8 new JBG shocks w/red shock boots, BDS steering stabilizer, new front brakes, front hubs repacked, 5 stock rims stripped and then powder coated, 4 like new hub caps, new chrome lugs and 4 new Bridgestone 30x9.50x15 A/T Duelers less 1000 miles and front end alignment about 200 miles ago
Now I will get into some of the cosmetics that were done along the way which include newly recovered front and rear seat w/ new foam buns for the 2 front seats, rebuilt Unity spot light (new hand assembly), 6 new LED bulbs in dash instruments, new LED tag bulb, new dash brake light, new front seat belts (Air craft quality), new grill badges, stainless license plate frame, (kept original), 2 Billet aluminum fuel caps, (kept originals), stainless tailgate handle assembly w/ gaskets, (kept original), stainless jack strap, (kept original), stainless hood safety latch w/bolts, front and rear show quality stock bumpers w/stainless bumper bolts, park and tail light gaskets, used heater intake hose, powder coated tire carrier & tire mount, stainless carrier plate w/wingnut & latch guard, stainless carrier latch guard loop, poly turn signal bases, new passenger side mirror w/ gaskets, hood adjusting bumpers.

Find out if the Ford Fiesta ST can match Europe's latest hot hatches
Tue, 11 Feb 2014The V8 grunt of the Mustang has defined Ford performance cars in the US for the last 50 years, but in Europe, the Blue Oval has nearly as a long history of building some of the best hot hatches on the market with the Fiesta, Escort and later the Focus. The latest Fiesta ST has just hit the roads on both sides of the pond and has been enthusiastically received thanks to its combination of a peppy, turbocharged engine and hatchback utility.
However, Europe is getting a bumper crop of hot hatches at the moment, including the forthcoming, third-generation Mini Cooper S. Should Ford have waited to launch the ST until it knew how the competition performed? That's the answer that Xcar is after in its latest video, and it took the Fiesta to the track and some very misty, Welsh roads to find out. Scroll down to find out whether the ST stacks up.
2015 Ford Mustang stars in bizarrely awesome '80s aerobics video
Wed, 30 Apr 2014For reasons we can't comprehend, here's a music video starring the all-new, 2015 Ford Mustang and a number of dancers dressed and styled in the most stereotypically 1980s way possible. The dancers then take part in a male-versus-female dance off. Again, we've no idea why it exists.
It's weird, and for the second time in two weeks, we're sat at our computer wondering, "What are we watching?" That said, it does show the new Mustang from a number of angles, and it's one of the first car-related YouTube videos we've seen that's available in a 4K, ultra-high-def stream.
Take a look below, and let us know what you think in Comments.
NHTSA closes Ford F-150 EcoBoost acceleration probe
Mon, 14 Apr 2014Typically when we report on the findings of an investigation from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, it's because the government body has discovered a safety issue and prescribed a recall. In this case, however, NHTSA has closed an investigation into a reported performance deficit without ever getting to the recall stage.
The issue revolves around the Ford F-150 - specifically those equipped with the 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine - of which some 360,000 were built in the 2011, 2012 and 2013 model years. After receiving an initial 95 complaints, NHTSA opened an investigation last May - almost a year ago - into the reported issue of reduced engine power under hard acceleration. The agency has since received a total of 525 such complaints, and Ford itself reported receiving over 4,000.
Together, NHTSA and Ford determined that the problem resulted from cylinders misfiring, an issue itself stemming from water getting into the charge air cooler (CAC) mated to the turbochargers. In particularly humid or rainy conditions, water was found to get into the CAC, causing some of the cylinders to misfire, which in turn triggered the ECU to disable those cylinders in order to protect the catalytic converter from damage.
