Available is a 1968 Ford Bronco Sport model. I purchased it from the original owner who is in his 80's. I have the original owners manual, keys, registration, and 33 pages of records dating back to 1985. This is a true survivor. When's the last time you've seen a 1 owner, original paint, uncut 1968 Bronco? There's not many left like this one. Check out the 45 years of renewal stickers on the original license plate. All glass is original.

It is incredibly solid and original. The original paint is showing it's age, but they're only original once! Zero filler, all panels are original. This is one of the best running and driving Broncos I've owned. It has 3.50 gears and will keep up with traffic fine on the interstate. This can be used as a daily driver, preserved, or restored. Everything works. Both headlights are even original FoMoCo from '68! The clutch was changed and the engine was completely rebuilt in 2001, and has 15,000 miles. The engine bay is a little dirty, but I started cleaning it and it will look great when finished. The radiator and muffler are newer also. The tires have 95% tread. The spare is an original NOS tire.

I encourage you to have a mechanic inspect the Bronco, or fly in and drive it home, or better yet have it transported home. Everything works. I ordered a Marti report and it is included with the other documentation. It has newer electric wipers, but original vacuum wipers are included. Also, the Bronco was ordered radio delete, and the original owner added a cassette player. I have a factory AM radio I will include with the sale. I have the liftgate handle and original key. I have it off to adjust the linkage. I hope the new owner does a full preservation on the old girl.

Ask questions before you bid. All bidders with negative or zero feedback will be retracted and blocked. Sorry, but there are too many scammers on here lately. Paypal deposit is required immediately. Bronco is sold as is with no warranty. I reserve the right to end the auction early as I have the Bronco for sale locally. Thank you.

Ford pulls official support from top-level NHRA teams

Sun, 11 Aug 2013

As the smallest team in the sport, it wasn't really a surprise when Dodge decided to pull out of NASCAR, but Autoweek is reporting that Ford is looking to pull the plug on its professional-level NHRA sponsorships following the 2014 season. With attendance and television ratings down, the article reports that Ford is just backing out of the top series but will remain active in the Sportsman classes of racing, which are geared more toward the grassroots and semi-professional racers.
This means that one of drag racing's biggest names, John Force, will be left looking for new sponsorship after next season. Force, 64, has been with Ford for 17 years, winning 15 championships in that time and winning almost half of all Funny Car events in his Mustang since he started working with Ford in 1997, but after 2014, there could be some big shakeups at John Force Racing.
According to the report, Force would consider is moving over to the Top Fuel dragster series, although he could also move to another manufacturer to remain in the Funny Car series. With Ford on the way out, this leaves just Toyota and Dodge as the remaining active automakers in the highest levels of drag racing.

Mustang GT350 reveal coming Nov 17?

Mon, 03 Nov 2014

Ford looks to have something really big planned for the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. The Blue Oval has released the first of five teaser videos on the brand's performance heritage, and aside from some great images of racers over the years, the video includes a series of teaser images, the last of which points to November 17, 2014.
That's the day before press days open in LA, and considering the propensity of global automakers to plan lavish debuts the night before a major international auto show, it's a virtual certainty that Ford will be showing off some sort of special vehicle.
That'd be news in and of itself, but based on the images shown in Ford's teaser video - which include an Alcantara steering wheel, a "Powered by Ford" valve cover, aluminum pedals, sticky tires, a big, round exhaust tip, a honeycomb grille and a serious set of wheels - it seems very likely that Ford will be showing something performance oriented.

Texas plumber shocked his old Ford F-250 is now in terrorists' hands [w/video]

Thu, Dec 18 2014

Do you ever wonder what the a owner is doing with your vehicle after you trade it in? Mark Oberholtzer of Mark-1 Plumbing in Texas City, TX, has no need to imagine, but it's probably his worst nightmare. That's because an image of his old Ford F-250 is now on Twitter as a gun platform in the Syrian Civil War. While the image only appeared recently, Oberholtzer traded the truck in last November. Somehow since then the F-250 made its way from Texas to Syria. According to a report from television station WHOU, the dealer that took the trade said the pickup immediately went to auction. Unfortunately, along the whole route no one ever took Mark-1 Plumbing's name and phone number off the door. So when the image went up on Twitter, everyone knew whom the Ford previously belonged to. The plumbing company makes it abundantly clear that this whole bizarre situation is simply a coincidence, and it has absolutely no ties to the conflict in Syria. However, that isn't preventing people from phoning the business with angry calls and threats. Things are so bad that Oberholtzer keeps the phones unplugged for relief. Scroll down to watch a video of the guy's flabbergasted reaction to finding out what his F-250 is doing now. This content is hosted by a third party.
