THIS 1966 FORD BRONCO WAS PURCHASED OVER 20 YEARS AGO AND WAS A FRAME OFF RESTORATION. IT HAS BEEN STORED AND DRIVEN LESS THAN 100 MILES, WHEN MY FATHER DECIDED HE WANTED A FUEL INJECTION MOTOR WITH DISC BRAKES. HE SPENT ABOUT 14K IN PARTS AND RETRO WORK ON THIS BEAUTIFUL VEHICLE BEFORE HE PASSED AWAY IN FEB.. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN AN ARIZONA VEHICLE AND AND LOOKS ORIGINAL EXCEPT FOR THE UPGRADED PARTS. IT NEEDS STILL NEEDS THE SMALL ITEM FINISHED BUT IS VERY CLOSE TO BEING COMPLETED. THE UPGRADES INCLUDE A 5.0 FUEL INJECTED V-8, FRONT DISC BRAKES, ELECTRIC WINDSHIELD WIPERS, CUSTOM HEADERS, ALUMINUM RADIATOR, AND CUSTOM CROSSOVER EXHAUST. THIS QUITE THE CONVERSATION PIECE AND I WOULD LOVE TO KEEP IT BUT DONT HAVE THE TIME TO FINISH IT. THE FORD MECHANIC HAS SAID IT NEEDS ANOTHER $300 IN WIRING AND SMALL ITEMS LIKE THE CLEARANCE LIGHTS. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CALL ANYTIME 520-940-5199

2015 Ford Mustang GT [w/video]
Fri, 19 Sep 2014At 50 years old, the object of fantasies, a tuner's dream, a movie star and more than nine million strong, it couldn't be truer to say that the Ford Mustang needs no introduction. This newest Mustang, however - making the biggest changes we've seen to the pony car since perhaps 1964.5 - is something Ford has been introducing all year.
We went on a Deep Dive, covered the way it looks when it was revealed, detailed the engine specs, got a ride in the EcoBoost and listened to the V8, got rolling footage and watched it do a standard-feature burnout.
The only thing left to do? Drive it. Having now done so for a few hours around Los Angeles, what we can tell you is to forget everything you know about the Mustang. This new car shames the old, redefines the model and gallops far ahead of anything else in the segment.
National Geographic Channel balances Ford F-150 on four coffee mugs
Wed, 29 Jan 2014Proving that there is still something to be learned on television these days, National Geographic Channel recently introduced a new series called Duck Quacks Don't Echo. On the first episode of this science/comedy show, host Michael Ian Black proposes the idea that a truck can be supported with a ceramic coffee mug under each wheel - yes, he says that the entire weight of a truck can be balanced on just four coffee mugs.
Looking to find out whether this is fact or myth, the show uses a regular cab Ford F-150, weighing in at 4,800 pounds, and four average coffee mugs. Lowered onto the mugs, the idea is quickly put to the test. Can the cups hold up under 4,800 pounds? If so, what, exactly, would it take to break them? Scroll down below to find out.
Ford Transit Skyliner Concept does discreet luxury in NYC
Thu, 17 Apr 2014There's something to be said for luxed-out vans. They're cool, and as a means of getting chauffeured about, they're extremely comfortable and far more low key than your typical executive luxury sedan. For the 2014 New York Auto Show, Galpin Auto Sports has shown the potential of the new-for-the-US Ford Transit as an ultra-luxurious people hauler.
The Transit Skyliner Concept, which we previewed last week, sports four finely crafted captain's buckets that can be moved into different formations based on need. Want to watch a movie? The seats can be swung around to face a 52-inch screen. Riding along with some business associates? A table can be popped up. There's even a configuration for tailgating.
The materials are, unsurprisingly, pretty plush. The leather seats and wood floors (yes, wood floors in a van) look great, while the trunk and its customized luggage are a nice touch, as well.
