***1973 FORD BRONCO RANGER*** I bought this Bronco from South Florida from the 2nd owner. It was originally purchased at Sam Galloway Ford in Ft Myers Florida. I have owned a few Broncos and restore them and sell them over time and start another one. As far as documentation I have never seen an original Bronco with such complete original documentation(see pictures) I have the original window sticker, build sheet, registrations dating to 1973, oil change records, warranty work. owners manual, and owners VIN plate that went with vehicle. This bronco was in great running condition and good body condition when I got it. It is obvious it was taken care of over the years. Body was sanded down and base coat, clear coat applied in the original sequoia brown metallic color. Paint job is a little less than a year old. Seats were recovered with the matching fabric to match the original door and rear bed panels. The carpet was replaced with a deluxe carpet and pad kit and underlining was applied to entire bottom of cab area to protect against any rust in the future. Everything on interior of Bronco is original and works great. Original steering wheel, horn lever, all instrumentation and switches work properly, all lights work, air condition blows ice cold. As for body it is very straight. There was no major rust to repair or anything that is common with these vehicles. All doors open and close easily and line up properly. Tailgate and liftgate work flawlessly. New bumpers were added. Under the hood has the original 3 speed with a very peppy rebuilt 302 that starts easily, sounds great, no smoke, no knocks, etc. Everything was left original under the hood, but has been taken apart piece by piece and sanded down and repainted properly. As for the under carriage It has been preserved well throughout the years. Underlining was applied to entire underside of cab and body for prevention measures. 2 new fuel tanks installed, new 2.5" lift with all new leaf springs, coil springs, shocks, body bushings, radius arm bushings, and c-bushings. Brand new pacer wheels and 32/11-50/15 all-terrain tires were installed. New complete rear brakes were installed. Alot of money and time has been invested to make this truck a great running, near original Bronco. Check my feedback and bid with confidence. This truck is sold with no warranty written or implied. And is sold as-is where-is. Deposit is non-refundable for any reason and is due within 24 hours of auction ending or immediately with a buy it now. All reasonable offers will be entertained and auction can be ended if your offer is accepted.

Leno drives Henry Ford II's all-original '52 Ferrari 212 Barchetta
Tue, 17 Jun 2014The story of the relationship between Henry Ford II and Enzo Ferrari is absolutely fascinating. The two great men of the auto industry had what appeared to be a burgeoning friendship until Ferrari pulled out of a deal to sell his company to Ford in the '60s. The latest car featured in Jay Leno's Garage is a 1952 Ferrari 212 Barchetta that tells the very beginnings of that story.
This Prancing Horse was a gift to Ford from Enzo when the two companies were first thinking about merging, according to the curator of the Petersen Automotive Museum. Ferrari really wanted to show off its best so instead of the 212's normal V12, this car was fitted with the larger 2.7-liter unit from a Ferrari 225. The car has been almost unaltered since then. It still wears its original paint, and it's tires date back to 1954.
The great thing about the Petersen is that unlike a lot of auto museums, the people there actually drive the cars and keep them in working order. Once on the road with Leno behind the wheel, this Ferrari really sings. Unfortunately, he can't open it up too much because the 60-year-old tires really hold things back. Scroll down to watch this amazing piece of automotive history and learn it's possible effect on the styling of the original Ford Thunderbird.
Ford opens the doors on its Swedish rally skunkworks
Fri, 19 Sep 2014It's always amazing to see how different kinds of racecars are made. Formula One racers are often constructed in modern architectural marvels that hint at some of the cutting-edge technology going into the racing. Conversely, rallying is all about sliding around on a varied course as fast as possible, but it often leaves a vehicle caked in mud. So it makes some sense Olsbergs MSE, or simply (OMSE) rally car shop in Nynashamn, Sweden, shows technological sophistication in a more down-to-earth setting. It builds Ford Fiesta ST racers for Global Rallycross there, and this new video gives viewers a tour through the work.
Former rally driver Andreas Eriksson runs OMSE. These days instead of racing, he and the company's 46 employees are building Ford racers from scratch. A ton of work goes into constructing each one, and according to Eriksson, it takes 400 hours to complete each body. At times, things are so busy that some of the technicians live in the shop in apartments that are on premises. There's even a restaurant to keep them fed. Sadly the dyno room is empty during this visit, though.
By the time OMSE is done, a rallycross car might resemble a Fiesta ST on the outside, but as you see in the video, it's a completely different beast underneath. Check out the work it takes to build one of them, and scroll down to read more about it in the official release.
Mustang Cobra Jet prototype garners $200k for charity at Barrett-Jackson
Wed, 02 Oct 2013A few weeks ago we brought you news of a one-off Mustang Cobra Jet that Ford was donating to charity. The car was set to be auctioned off by Barrett-Jackson in Las Vegas to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Now that auction has taken place, bringing in an impressive $200,000 for MS research.
That's a lot of zeros for a Mustang, much less one you can't even drive on the street. But the unique pony car, bearing serial number 2014 BJMS CJXX1, packs a 5.0-liter supercharged V8, competition gearbox, wheelie bar, roll cage... all you could want, in short, in a turn-key drag racer. And all that for a good cause.
