Longview, Washington, United States

You are bidding on a very nice, family owned 1970 FORD BRONCO. I have the original bill of sale, protecto plate and manual. This is a solid bronco with an un-cut body/tub with base coat/clear coat paint.

This Bronco was originally powered by a 3 speed from the factory but that was changed out for a NP435 4-speed and a 351 Cleveland with Edelbrock manifold and carburetor. It has dual Flowmaster exhaust, 3.50 gears, dual tanks, a Chelsea PTO winch, 1.5" lift and 31x10.5-15 tires.

The body on this truck is super solid with no issues other than a few areas with slight surface rust. The floor pans are original and solid. The top has only been removed once and that was for the paint job.

The bronco comes with a rare factory front bench seat, un-cut dash, fold & tumble rear seat and rhino-lined tub.

This isn't your flawless $50k Bronco but it is damn nice and you will be hard pressed to find a better rig for the money that is solid, un-cut and hasn't been off-road its entire life.

If you have any questions about this bronco, please give me a call at 360-749-6696. I would prefer a call rather than email.

Please call within 24 hours of winning the auction to inform me of your payment method and a viewing time if desired before final payment and shipping if not being picked up in person.   Complete payment is required within 7 days of auction close and must be paid in cash, cashier's check or wire transfer before the vehicle or title is released.

If paying by check, the check must clear funds before releasing the vehicle or title.

Winning bidder is also responsible for picking up the vehicle in person or must arrange and pay any and all associated shipping costs, etc.

*Reserve Price is $18,500.00

TX officer allegedly lets 140-mph street racer go with a warning [w/poll]

Tue, 26 Aug 2014

Being pulled over by the police is one of the most nerve-racking situations that a driver can go through, and it's even worse when you know that the officer has you dead to rights for speeding well over the posted limit. In this video, the driver of a heavily modified Ford Mustang with a claimed 966 horsepower at the rear wheels could have easily lost his ride for doing triple-digit speeds and street racing, but a friendly Texas police officer appears to send him on his way with a simple warning.
What's more, the driver in question wasn't just speeding - his Mustang was the camera car for a bunch of rolling street races in the wee hours of the morning on a Texas highway. The driver was more than willing to mix it up in the action, too. Eventually the cops catch on and pick the 'Stang to pull over, but not before the Ford owner runs a claimed 140 mph. With only audio to go on after the car is pulled over, the police officer seems incredibly nonchalant about catching someone who was so brazenly breaking the law. Incredibly, the patrolman actually tells the driver that he's seen everyone racing tonight but ignored them. With traffic picking up, the cop says that it's time to "cut it out" and go home for the night. As far as this video shows, that was the end of it.
Warning: There is explicit, not-safe-for-work language in the video below.

Jay Leno and Lee Iacocca reflect on 50 years of Ford Mustang

Mon, 30 Dec 2013

Lee Iacocca oversaw the birth of the Ford Mustang back in the 1960s, rocketing the new pony car nameplate into million-unit sales territory in its initial go-round and cementing its place in the history books. Thus, we were immediately drawn to this latest episode of Jay Leno's Garage, in which the funnyman hosts Iacocca for a look at the origins of Ford's most iconic sports car. The legendary auto exec is looking notably more frail than when we last saw him, but if we're being asked around as a video guest when we're 89 years old, we'll consider that evidence of a life well lived.
Serial No. 0001 is on hand for the occasion for Jay's romp through history, as is the historic Mustang 1 showcar from 1962. Of course, the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang GT (in prototype form) makes an appearance at the end of the episode with chief engineer Dave Pericak, as well. Get some, below.

Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.
