1996 F150 XLT Eddie Bauer
"Only 105K" 5.0L. Automatic
"Rare Shortbed"
Extra Clean

This is a fantastic opportunty to own a very well cared for, 1996 Ford F150 Eddie Bauer Edition Truck "RareShort Bed". This Truck is incredibly clean, with Low Mileage.
Every where you look this truck is very very clean. It also come with all Original Books. This is the final year of this sought after body style of the F150, Ford made very few of the F150's in the short bed other than the Lightning. Also it is hard to find them with a V8 and automatic transmission in this body style as well..

It appears to have always been very well maintained and cared for, and looks as if it has always been pampered and never abuse, and appears to have been garaged it's entire life.
It is ready to go to Work or be saved as a Weekend Toy.

The Exterior: is in very very nice condition. The Green Metallic paint has great shine and depth with very very minor scratches or rock chips, visible only under close inspection. It also has a bed liner that shows little use.
  •

It also has the Factory Alloy Wheels with White Lettered Tires.

The Interior: is also in very nice condition with little wear (Drivers seat fabric has a few minor imperfections). It comes completely stock with, Tilt, Cruise A/C (ice cold). It also comes with Power Windows and Power Locks, Ect...

The pictures do not do this Truck justice, it is better in person.
The dash is in great condition and still has the Factory Stereo. The carpet show little wear also.

This Truck runs and drives fantastic. It has great power and drives tight, and brakes straight and smooth. It comes with 8Cyl 5.0 L. Engine and Automatic Transmission that makes this truck a real pleasure to drive, and still get decent mileage for a full size truck.

This is a well cared for Ford F150 Eddie Bauer Edition combined with Low Mileage, Short Bed and in beautiful Condition, makes this a "DON'T MISS OPPORTUNITY"!!!

Popular Science magazine's Best Of What's New 2012 all ate up with cars

Tue, 20 Nov 2012

Popular Science has named the winners in its Best of What's New awards, the victors coming in the categories of aerospace, automotive, engineering, entertainment, gadgets, green, hardware, health, home, recreation, security and software. The automotive category did not go wanting for lauded advancements:
Tesla Model S: the Grand Award winner for being "the standard by which all future electric vehicles will be measured."
BMW 328i: it's 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gets called out for being more powerful and frugal than the six-cylinder it replaces.

Ford C-Max spot aimed squarely at Cadillac ELR 'Poolside' hubris [UPDATE]

Thu, Mar 27 2014

If we had tried to predict the first video response to the controversial Poolside video for the Cadillac ELR, we would not have thought it would center on compost. But, hey, it's always nice to be reminded that the real world is sometimes better than fiction. Instead of the chic swagger of 'Poolside,' 'Anything Is Possible' is all about getting dirty. The new short in question is called Upside: Anything Is Possible and it promotes two things: Detroit Dirt and the Ford C-Max Energi. As in the ELR ad, Ford's plug-in C-Max only makes an appearance at the tail end of the spot, but instead of the chic swagger of Poolside, Anything Is Possible is all about getting dirty. The ad stars Pashon Murray, co-founder of Detroit Dirt, which takes natural waste from around Detroit, composts it into soil and then spreads that around "forgotten parcels" of Detroit to create urban farms. Detroit Dirt gets its bio-waste from a lot of sources, including the Detroit Zoological Society (all that herbivore manure has to go somewhere), Ford and General Motors, but this particular ad was the idea of Ford's PR agency, Team Detroit. It was a frenetic shoot, filmed with an LA-based director right after a big winter storm blew through Detroit, and Murray couldn't be happier with the result. "This was Ford Motor Company pushing my story, letting me tell the story that I believe in," Murray tells AutoblogGreen. "I get to help push this car and I get to tell my story." She says that the Team Detroit and Ford had to agree on the message, "from my understanding, [YouTube] is where they wanted to start, not where they wanted to finish." The ad is already getting a positive response on Twitter, so we won't be surprised if it shows up in more places soon. "It's not saying Ford is better than GM. It's telling the story of a black woman who's working hard in Detroit." As Detroit Dirt has off-screen support from both GM and Ford, it's unsurprising to hear Murray say that the video "is not a rivalry thing." She notes that the ad agency Team Detroit came to her and offered to tell the Detroit Dirt story using the framework of the GM ad. "It's a parody on this commercial, but it's not saying Ford is better than GM," she said. "It's telling the story of a black woman who's working hard in Detroit." What is that story? It's about urban farming, recovery and recycling. Murray tells us that for the last seven or eight years, she's been dedicated to sustainability.

Ford driving Alaskan maniac rams toddler-carrying SUV

Mon, Jul 25 2016

A couple from Anchorage had a frightening traffic encounter when they were followed and repeatedly rammed by a stranger in a pickup truck. Grace Bernert, her boyfriend, and his two-year-old daughter were returning home from a trip to downtown Anchorage when they noticed a blue, 2001 Ford F-150 following closely behind them. "The guy was so close, we couldn't see his headlights," Bernert told KTVA. Bernert, who was riding shotgun, pulled out her phone to record the truck when it struck the rear end of their Acura SUV. That's when she called 911. Bernert's boyfriend tried to lose the F-150 in the Sullivan Arena parking lot, then drove to a local Ford dealer's parking lot where he drove through a maze of new Ford pickups in an attempt to shake their assailant. "We started doing circles around the brand new Fords because we thought the truck wouldn't be able to turn as fast as we would," said Bernert. "We were right, but the guy didn't care. He just kept hitting the new fords and backing up, coming after us." The truck continued to follow them, ramming the Acura again and again. Bernert estimates that F-150 driver struck their SUV between five and seven times, and hit numerous new trucks in the dealership parking lot. Eventually, they ducked into a nearby neighborhood where they managed to lose the F-150 and called 911. Bernert told KTVA that she believes they were targeted but doesn't know why. "The guy was either some random sick person who didn't care, or somebody who knew us and didn't care there was a kid in the car," she said. Anchorage Police arrived shortly after the couple escaped the F-150 and filed a report about the incident. They are currently investigating. Recent Video:
