Ford Other Deluxe Coupe on 2040-cars
Atlanta, Georgia, United States
This is a real nice 1936 Ford Coupe Streetrod that is ALL STEEL except the 2 rear fenders which are Fiberglass. This Coupe is powered by a Chevy 350 engine connected to a 350 Turbo transmission. It runs and drives good. It was drove about 100 miles when we bought it and did good. It has real nice Red and Black paint that I would rate a strong 7 out of 10. It has a deep shine to it. The interior is also nice with Black Bucket seats in front and tilt column with column shifter and a nice Grant stering wheel. It has nice aftermarket gauges that all seem to work. It has Cold A/C. The drivers side door glass is cracked. Rest of glass is good. The front end is original with a dropped front axle and power disc brakes was added to the front. The rear is a 10 Bolt GM rear geared for hwy driving. You can cruise 70 all day. It does not have power steering but has a new vega steering box. It handles the road good and is not hard to turn. It drives straight . All lights works as they should. The tires are wide white radial tires with steelie wheels and center moons. The car has a great stance and look to it. The undercarriage looks good with rust not being an issue with the floor or trunk pans. Overall just a real nice streetrod that you can drive and enjoy. I have alot more pics of this car including underneath pics if anyone is interested. This is a good nice Streetrod but not a trailor queen that your scared to drive. Cars are meant to be drove and enjoyed.

Mulally will stay close to Ford after he steps down, plans to advise Fields [w/video]
Fri, 27 Jun 2014Ford CEO Alan Mulally has less than a week left in his role of leading the Blue Oval before he hands off duties to Mark Fields on July 1. It doesn't look like Mulally is going to be shuffling off into his retirement anytime soon, though. The 68-year-old is being rather secretive about his next move, but he tells Bloomberg in a recent interview that he plans to stay close to Ford. Also, if Fields wants to ask for any advice, Mulally is happy to help.
Mulally took over at Ford in 2006 and led the company through a seriously rough patch in the auto industry. According to Bloomberg, he became famous or his Thursday meetings where executives were forced to deal with any problems before they could leave. Since announcing his retirement from Ford in May, Mulally has been insuring a smooth transition of power by traveling the world to all of company's major locations and saying goodbye to employees and dealers.
In terms of the future at Ford, Mulally doesn't predict any big changes in management style because the rest of the executive team is staying in place. He believes that Fields is going to maintain the processes already in place to keep things going. After all, it seems to be working. The company is predicting a return to profitability in Europe next year and is opening 88 new dealers in China. If the business could get its recalls under control, things could get even better.
2015 Ford C-Max gets a corporate nose job [w/video]
Thu, 02 Oct 2014Ford might not have the splashiest booth here at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, but the automaker is showing off quite a bit of hardware that will actually end up on roads across Europe. Parisians are no doubt tickled at getting to see the specifications of the Mustang tuned for The Continent (which has a revised suspension for European roads, and a few visual nips and tucks), in addition to the revised face of the family-friendly C-Max.
As you can see, C-Max styling has been revisited with a deft touch, grafting Ford's six-sided corporate grille on the nose, in place of the outgoing car's two-part affair. New headlights can also be found on the car's revised front fascia, though the rear end of the C-Max looks only slightly different than the current version.
Inside the cabin, Ford has consolidated controls and upped the ante in terms of material quality, with "black satin" and chrome details and more storage capacity, overall. Grocery-lugging moms and dads everywhere should appreciate the hands-free liftgate feature, as well.
Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang is a track-day weapon with 500 hp
Mon, 17 Nov 2014
Ford promises more than 500 horsepower and a torque peak above 400 lb-ft.
The wait is finally over. After months of spy shots, rumor and innuendo, Ford has officially pulled the wraps off its new Shelby GT350. Judging by the spec sheet and the promises being made - especially that the Shelby GT350 will be "an all-day track car that's also street legal" - the wait appears to have been worth it.
