UP FOR AUCTION IS A 2003 FORD WINDSTAR MINIVAN. THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER WAS REPLACED AT 135,000 MILES WHEN I GOT THE VEHICLE THE ODOMETER ONLY GOES TO 99.9 THEN BACK TO 0.0 SO IN GUESSING THAT IT HAS AROUND 145,000 MILES ON IT. THE DRIVE TRAIN IS STRONG AND THE VAN RIDES SMOOTHLY. I JUST HAD THE A/C COMPRESSOR AND CONDENSER REPLACED AND NOW IT BLOWS ICE COLD AIR. IT HAS ALWAYS HAD NORMAL OIL CHANGES AND MAINTENANCE PERFORMED BY CROWN CAR CARE, STUART FL. THERE IS A CUSTOM MILITARY THEME PAINT JOB ON THE HOOD (SEE PICS) . THE ABS MODULE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, THE WARNING LIGHT SOMETIMES COMES ON. OVERALL CONDITION IS GOOD VEHICLE RUNS AND DRIVES WELL AND SHOULD LAST FOR YEARS TO COME.

Toyota sells six of 10 of hybrids in California
Wed, 31 Jul 2013In an apparent shot back at Ford's increasing market share of electrified vehicles and claim that it accepts more Prius trade-ins for its own hybrids than any other car, Toyota has flexed a muscle and played the numbers game to put the Blue Oval in its place.
Leaning on its hybrid market dominance in California, the Japanese automaker stated that six out of 10 hybrids sold in the Golden State are Toyota models. And it keeps coming: Year-to-date through May 2013, Toyota sold five times more hybrids than Ford. One of every two hybrids in California is a Prius model. In addition, Toyota notes that it has sold 1.5 million Prius vehicles in the US, 90-percent of which are still on the road today.

2016 Ford Police Interceptor Utility shows up for duty in Chicago
Fri, Feb 13 2015The latest upgrade for the 2016 Ford Police Interceptor Utility is all set to patrol the Windy City's streets with its debut at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show. On the outside, the revised Ford police vehicle looks basically the same as the recently refreshed Explorer with a new grille and redesigned headlights. Inside, there's a restyled steering wheel and center console. Unlike the civilian model, though, the PI Utility gets heavy-duty brakes, a more robust cooling system, reinforced subframe mounts and larger diameter suspension springs for more strength. Under the hood, police forces get to choose between either a 3.7-liter V6 with 304 horsepower and 279 pound-feet of torque or a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 with 365 hp and 350 lb-ft of twist. Regardless of powertrain, these 'utes feature a six-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The transmission includes the awesome-sounding Pursuit Mode feature that switches over to more aggressive shifts when it detects harder driving to properly stop crime. Related Video:
Watch the Hennessey Ford GT makes its record run at Texas Mile
Wed, 27 Mar 2013We said they'd probably be out with an official video, we did not lie. The Hennessey-powered camouflage Ford GT sat at one end of the runway at the Texas Mile sitting still. At the other end of the runway it had broken its own speed record, the twin-turbo 5.7-liter V8 pushing the aerodynamic supercar up to 267.6 miles per hour, a 4.3-mph improvement over the old mark.
There's not much in the video you haven't already seen, this just makes it official. That said, who doesn't want to see a twin-turbo Ford GT set an incredible speed record? You can watch it below.
