2000 Windstar Van. Vehicle ran exceptionally well and was used on a regular basis up to last week. Engine made funny sound, stopped running and will not start, no idea what is wrong with engine. Vehicle (aside from engine) is in decent shape. Recently installed new front brakes and rotors, battery is about 4 months old, all wheels are in very good shape with no damage, tires are in very good shape also (see photos, almost new on rear). Vehicle has leather seats in good condition, rear heat and A/C with seperate control for rear are all functional and blow cold air (photo). Minor dent on left fender/door. Signs of rust on bottom of doors. Third row seat. Wiring and adapter for Sirius satellite radio in vehicle (satellite radio not included). Transmission was replaced at about 110,000 miles. Roof rack. Ford readying Ranger-based Everest SUV?

Way back in August, we showed you a Ford concept for the Australian market called the Everest. Now, we can show you that work on the new Ranger-based SUV is well under way.
At this stage, it's still quite clearly a mule (note the misalignment of the front and rear doors), wearing the Ranger's front end and the rump of Ford's overseas Territory crossover. The wheelbase is shorter than a Ranger, according to our spy photographers, which strikes us as somewhat odd for a more passenger-oriented vehicle. Disc brakes should be fitted at all four corners, while the new SUV, which will almost certainly wear the Everest name, should sport a new rear suspension.
In terms of looks, we're expecting the Everest Concept to inform the appearance of the production model. Naturally, there will also be some interior tweaks, particularly around the dashboard, which is covered in these photos.

2014 is shaping up to be a big year for Ford Motor Company, as it's announced an onslaught of 23 new global product launches which will help create 5,000 new jobs in the US. As part of the new product push, three more manufacturing plants will be opened.
