2011 Ford Transit Connect Xlt Handicap Wheelchair Mobility Accessible on 2040-cars
Port Charlotte, Florida, United States
2011 Black XLT HANDICAP WHEELCHAIR MOBILITY ACCESSIBLE!
I acquired this car to use for my handicapped wheelchair. I now have a hobby of buying and selling used wheelchairs so I had to purchase a larger van so I could handle more wheelchair to transport to people that need them. This van has been serviced every 3000 miles, it has all the updates done. It has rain shields for the side windows, bug deflector for the front, custom made trailer hitch which I use to tow my Model A Roadster to car shows. It has a lock that locks the hood, gas cap and door. The handicap lift is a Backpacker professionally installed, and if you do not want the Backpacker lift in the car I will have it professionally taken out.
For someone who has a wheelchair you can use the front and also the back seat. The back seats fold up and can be used for a package area. Above the front seat there is a storage area. Any Questions: Contact: Francis Hoath Phone: 941-629-4673
This vehicle also has a Tire Pressure Monitor which is a definite PLUS!! I have listed this vehicle locally so my ebay listing can be pulled at anytime. |

2015 Ford Edge debuts with fresh tech inside and out
Tue, 24 Jun 2014
Edge will be the first Ford-badged product to come standard with EcoBoost power.
Ford officially unveiled the all-new, third-generation Edge today at its Dearborn home, announcing that the latest version of the popular crossover will ride on the same CD4 architecture that underpins the Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKZ. The Edge will also be the first Ford-badged product to come standard with EcoBoost power.
Exceptionally rare '65 Ford GT40 Roadster prototype up for auction
Sat, 14 Jun 2014Think of mid-engined supercars and your mind is bound to gravitate towards Europe, but the United States has been known to make a handful from time to time - exceptional vehicles from the likes of Vector, SSC, Mosler, Hennessey, and Saleen. But long before any of those came around, Ford famously became obsessed with beating Ferrari at its own game, leading to the development of the iconic GT40.
The story is well known, sending Ford to the checkered flag at Le Mans four times in a row in the late 1960s. Ford and Shelby also built over 100 for public consumption, but just four of them were roadsters. Of those only one remains in original condition, and now that exceedingly rare example going up for auction.
Consigned to RM Auctions for its mid-August sale during Pebble Beach weekend in Monterey, California, this 1965 model is the first GT40 Roadster built. It was used as a development and demonstration vehicle for Ford and Shelby. Carroll Shelby himself drove Henry Ford II in this very car during one of many test and demo events, this time held for Ford's board of directors in Los Angeles.
SEMA crowns Mustang, FR-S as this year's hottest cars in the building
Wed, 31 Oct 2012After wrapping up the first day of the 2012 SEMA Show, organizers handed out awards for some of the trendiest vehicles on display. Since the whole point of SEMA is to show off new products available in the aftermarket world for use in cars, trucks and SUVs, each year, the show distinguishes the most popular vehicle in various segments. Not surprisingly, this year's Hottest Car and Hottest Sport Compact are the Ford Mustang and Scion FR-S, respectively, while the Ford F-Series brought home the Hottest Truck and the Jeep Wrangler was named the Hottest 4x4-SUV.
More than 2,000 companies are at this year's show, and the display booths represents a "vote" for each car to determing the trendiest vehicles in each of the four categories. It isn't clear if these awards also take cars brought by OEMs into account, but the Mustang and FR-S were definitely well represented by both OEM and aftermarket show versions.
As usual, the OEMs showed up in force at the this year's SEMA Show exhibiting a variety of cars ranging from production-intent cars like the beastly Ford Mustang Cobra Jet to much flashier rides like Scion's Carbon Stealth FR-S.
