ITS A RARE 1973 GRAN TORINO. FASTBACK  LASER STRIPE CAR WITH 351 CLEVELAND COBRA JET ENGINE    4 SPEED   ALL ORIGINAL CAR.

IT WAS INSIDE A BODY SHOP SINCE 1987.

THIS IS A RUNNING PROJECT THAT YOU COULD BE DRIVING IN A FEW DAYS AFTER STARTING THE WORK ON IT.

I WAS IN AN ACCIDENT AFTER I PURCHASED IT SO THE PROJECT HAS STALLED.

LOOK AT THE PICS, THE CAR IS AN AUTHENTIC FASTBACK, LASER STRIPE Q CODE 4 SPEED 351 RUNNING CLEVELAND COBRA JET ENGINE   ORIGINAL   POINT   WHICH IS EXTREMELY RARE AND IT RUNS GOOD TOO        . 9 INCH REAR TOO.

I STARTED FITTING SOME PANELS AND CUTTING OUT SOME BAD METAL. IT COMES WITH 2 GOOD REPAIRABLE FRONT FENDERS A GOOD EXTRA GRILL

A COMPLETELY RESTORED TRUNK LID JUST PUT ON. A NEW CLEAN RUST FREE HEADER A DASH PAD A NEW HEADLINER MISC MOLDINGS A BOX OF MISC PARTS.

WHAT IT NEEDS IS A HOOD FOUND 2 IN PHILLY WITH SCOOPS AND A REAR VALANCE DEARBORN MAG HAS IT IN FIBERGLASS FOR 199.00 AND FRONT SEAT COVERS 300.00 ALSO THE CENTER OF THE WHEEL PAD FOR THE STEERING WHEEL. ABOUT 125.00 ON EBAY.

OTHER THEN THOSE PARTS THE CAR IS ALL THERE

THE FAN AND SHROUD ARE OFF SO I COULD PAINT THE ENGINE AND COMPARTMENT

I HAVE FORD BLUE PAINT TO GO WITH IT. ALSO NEW PLUG WIRES TOO..

THIS IS AN EASY RESTORATION AND AGAIN A RARE CAR TO BE ALL INTACT AS IT IS.

THE D/S QUARTER NEEDS A PATCH I HAVE FRONT AND REAR BUMPERS THAT ARE GOOD AND CLEAN READY TO USE++++++++

THE PASS QUARTER IS NEW AND NEEDS TO BE FIT AND WELDED I HAVE IT HANGING ON THE SIDE.

THE TRUNK CENTER IS SOLID THE SIDES NEED TO BE PATCHED, I CUT THE BAD METAL OUT ALREADY SO YOU JUST NEED TO WELD THE PATCH PANELS IN AND MAKE A L/S SUPPORT.. THE FLOOR PANS LOOK GOOD SURFACE RUST ON FRAME BUT IT LOOKS ALL SOLID. ALL GLASS IS 100% ALL THE TRIM IS THERE NO RUST OR ROT AT ALL AROUND THE WINDOWS....... THATS RARE SO THE GLASS DOES NOT HAVE TO COME OUT......
THE WHEELS COULD BE CLEANED OR RECHROMED. NEEDS NEW TIRES

I HAVE HAD MANY OFFERS AND DIDNT REALLY WANT TO SELL IT BUT THE ACCIDENT TOOK ME OUT OF THE GAME FOR NOW.

CASH OR TRADES AS IM FLEXIBLE JUST WANT SOMEONE TO RESTORE IT.. ITS A GREAT FATHER SON PROJECT. SELLING IT CHEAP SO SOMEONE CAN AFFORD TO PUT IT TOGETHER PROPERLY....

THIS WAS AN UNTOUCHED UNMOLESTED CAR WITH 4 SPEED AND COBRA JET ENGINE

2015 Ford Mustang production starts in Flat Rock

Thu, 28 Aug 2014

Today's the day, Ford fans. Production has officially commenced on the sixth-generation 2015 Mustang at the company's Flat Rock, MI factory. As production ramps up, sales should kick off in the coming months.
The production news isn't just a bit deal for American fans. With the new Mustang getting a bespoke right-hand-drive variant, the pony car's worldwide availability has swollen to include 120 different countries, including its home nation.
"Mustang is and will continue to be an automotive icon," Joe Hinrichs, Ford's president of the Americas, said in a statement. "Expanding its availability globally affords our customers around the world the opportunity to have a true firsthand Mustang experience - one unlike any other."

We spy the Ford Mustang King Cobra early at SEMA

Tue, 04 Nov 2014

As is the case with most auto shows, waiting for the reveal of hot new models is the worst part. So, while our own Drew Phillips has been wandering the halls here in Las Vegas since they unlocked the doors for SEMA 2014, we didn't expect him to come back with any big reveals until later in the day. Until this happened.
Meandering by the Ford stand, Phillips eagle-eyed a trunk lid that caught his attention. Popping out from an otherwise draped 2015 Mustang, the matte black lid clearly has the name King Cobra embossed on the rear.
That name is interesting for a few reasons: to start, Ford hasn't used the Cobra name (without "Jet" attached) since way back in 2004, so a new snake is certainly something to take note of. Second, the King Cobra name dates all the way back to the ill-remembered Mustang II, meaning there is a clear link to Blue Oval history here.

Project Ugly Horse alive and kicking at Road & Track

Thu, 29 Aug 2013

The hallways of the Autoblog campus are much quieter now that Zach Bowman has taken his prose, along with his welders, wrenches and hammers, over to the digital pages of Road & Track, but that doesn't mean our favorite project Mustang is gone forever. Project Ugly Horse is still coming along, and Zach has gifted us another update on his unfoxy Fox Body.
Last we saw of the Ugly Horse, Zach was strengthening up the '89 Mustang's chassis as he prepares to stuff the turbocharged, direct-injected EcoBoost engine of a Ford Focus ST under the hood. First things first, the old mill must go. Head on over to Road & Track to catch the latest chapter of Project Ugly Horse.
