1968 Ford Torino GT Fastback 390 engine. I have owned this car for a little over two years. I have invested a lot more money and times in this project than I indicated I would. I will say, the end result has changed my mind about this vehicle. I love its lines and stature. Everywhere I go in this car it is a hit. I have brand new interior inside along with new stereo system. I have overspent on the outside exterior, but I wanted this car to be painted Flatte Black. This was harder than I was exspecting but was finally happy with the result. With this car you will get a solid car (no rust) inside and out. I have purchased everything possible made for the inside and outside new. It has new brakes all the way around. I replaced the frontend and exhaust system. I had the transmission rebuilt and it drives perfect. This car is not perfect, the paint looks great, but the body it not. To the average person it looks flawless, but to me I see her flaws. The price will represent her value at the end. I have over $18000.00 invested and she is worth every penny. Happy Bidding and good luck!

USPS releases hot rod stamps to speed up your delivery

After one of the worst winters in recent memory for much of the country, summer is finally here. It's time to drop the top, open the sunroof or at least put down the windows and take a long drive. The United States Postal Service is celebrating the season's sun in automotive style with two new hot rod Forever stamps.
Both stamps depict classic '32 Ford hot rods. One shows the car from the front at a low angle in red (pictured above), while the other depicts the car from the back in black with flames running down the side.
To introduce the new stamps on their first day of availability, the USPS went straight to the source at the National Street Rod Association Street Rod Nationals in York, PA. They were unveiled by Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe, Car Crazy host Barry Meguiar and NSRA Special Events Director Jerry Kennedy.
