Saab-powered Ford is the most unlikely drift car we've seen

Yes, you read that headline correctly. It's supposed to be a Saab-powered Ford, and not the other way around (although we fully support the notion of a Sonnet with a Flathead V8). Apparently, some lunatic in the UK took an ass-less 1953 Ford Anglia, paired it with a turbocharged Saab engine, and tuned the entire thing to go drifting. We like it. Called Urchfab, it's the subject of Carfection's (the blokes formerly known as XCar) latest video. Aside from looking like an extra from the British version of Mad Max, it has a problem with grip, in that there's just too much of it. This car is a fabber's dream, as we get to see its unnamed owner fashion new bits and bobs for the suspension before having an unfortunate encounter with a wall at Castle Combe. Ford blimp crashes inside Portland Trail Blazers arena

Portland basketball fans got a free, very safe recreation of the Hindenburg disaster when a Ford airship crashed into the stands during a game between the Trail Blazers and Indiana Pacers. Reportedly no one was hurt, but arena staff trying to push the inflatable vehicle through a hole it was too big for, made for some fantastic video and photos. This content is hosted by a third party. Petersen Museum celebrates 50 years of Ford Mustang with special exhibit

If you're a pony-car enthusiast, this is your year. Not only has Ford introduced an all-new Mustang, but it's also the 50th anniversary of the original. Celebrations and commemorations have been scheduled throughout the year, and not the least of them is the latest exhibit at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. Called "Mustangs Forever: 50 Years of a Legend", the exhibit includes Mustangs from every generation of the iconic pony car, including the 1965 convertible Ronald Reagan drove during his California gubernatorial campaign, a 1971 Mach 1 Cobra Jet, a 1974 Mustang II, 1993 SVT Cobra, 2000 Cobra R and a 2006 Shelby GT-H. Special sections focus on motorsports, aftermarket modifiers and limited-edition models.
