Wickliffe, Ohio, United States
Hello and thanks for stopping to check out our 2004 Ford Taurus SES! This car has the following options: Only 102,006 MILES! 3.0L V-6/Automatic Transmission Power Steering and Brakes AM/FM/CD Stereo Air Conditioning Leather Interior Power Tilt/Sliding Sunroof Tilt Wheel/Cruise Control Power Windows/Locks/Mirrors Power Driver’s Seat Rear Spoiler This is an excellent-running, well-equipped Taurus SES. It starts easily, and we believe all options are in working condition. The factory radio will have to be reconnected as the previous owner had an aftermarket radio in it and never reconnected the original when it was reinstalled. The body is in nice shape and no visible rust. It has a nice, clean leather interior that is in excellent shape. This is really a very low-mileage car for the year, so the lucky winner will be getting a very reliable automobile. It has a powerful, yet economical V-6 engine, so you get the best of both worlds. The tires are all in good shape, the brakes stop very well, and the air conditioning blows ice cold! This is a great car to drive as it’s not too big or too small. It’s just right. It rides and drives as well as or better than many cars of similar size! It would make a great first car for a young driver or a great daily commuter! If you’re thinking about bidding and you’re not far away, we invite you to stop by, check it out, and take it for a ride! Check out more pictures of this beautiful Taurus at the following link! CLICK HERE FOR THE TAURUS PICTURES ON PHOTOBUCKET! The car must be paid for within 48 hours after the end of the auction in cash or by wire transfer!! Ford reserving 50th Anniversary Mustangs for service members
Tue, Dec 16 2014Think getting your hands on one of the 1,964 50th Anniversary Ford Mustangs is hard as a civilian? Imagine how tough it might be for the Mustang fanatics in our nation's military. Perhaps recognizing this fact, Ford Emerging Market Services and the Overseas Military Sales Corporation (the only Ford-authorized retailer on the military's bases) ran a raffle, with the winners receiving the opportunity to purchase one of the limited-edition muscle cars. Ford EMS and OMS received 300 entries to the raffle, although with only eight 50th Anniversary Stangs to hand out, we imagine there were quite a lot of disappointed soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines. "We are pleased to offer limited-edition anniversary Mustangs to members of our military through our Military Appreciation Program, and we are delighted at the response it's receiving," Doug Walczak, EMS' fleet sales manager, said. The first Mustang was delivered to Army Maj. Del Boyer, shown above. While Maj. Boyer took delivery in New York, the raffle was open to servicemembers both at home and abroad.
Ford blamed in drug mule lawsuit
Tue, 30 Jul 2013If a college student is caught smuggling drugs across the border, one might think the kid got what was coming to him. But when a Mexican student at the University of Texas in El Paso was caught by Border Patrol agents with duffel bags filled with marijuana in his trunk, the man used a classic excuse: He claimed they weren't his.
While a claim like that is almost unbelievable, Ricardo Magallanes, the student, is now suing Ford for handling its vehicles' key codes negligently enough to allow drug smugglers to break into his Ford Focus and stash the drugs, The Daily Caller reports. The twist here is that four other people who lived in Juarez and worked in El Paso were involved in the same type of scheme - allegedly unwittingly, just like Magallanes - and all the cars were Fords except one model from General Motors. FBI agents also found an employee at a Dallas Ford dealership that had accessed the key codes to all four of the cannabis-stuffed Fords.
While we all may not own Fords, the case still causes us slight paranoia. We'll definitely be checking our trunks before we cross any more international borders.
Ford's Simple Suit Makes You Feel Like A Drunk Driver
Tue, Mar 25 2014We've all heard about the dangers of drunk driving for practically our entire lives. Whether it's from PSAs on TV or lectures in school, no one can claim ignorance of drunk driving being extremely dangerous. However, that doesn't prevent some people from still doing it. Ford is trying to take the safety message directly to young drivers with a special suit that allows them to simulate driving under the influence. It is all part of Ford's Driving Skills for Life program that gives free driving education to young people. The program is meant to "train kids in skills they don't learn in driver's ed," said Kelli Felker, Ford Safety Communications Manager, to Autoblog. The drivers don a few items to impair their senses and make them off-balance to simulate having a few too many drinks and then go out on a closed course with an instructor to see the effects. Felker said that the suit is a new part of the program, and Ford just received the outfit in the US. It will be incorporated into the training here in the late spring or early summer. Scroll down to see the effect it has on drivers in Europe. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.
