Beautiful 2002 Ford Taurus Ses "cold Air" on 2040-cars
Roland, Arkansas, United States
I have for sale my 2002 Ford Taurus SES. It runs and drives like new and is very dependable. It has ice cold air conditioning. The engine runs great and has a lot of power. There are no leaks or mechanical issues. It steers and rides great. It has the 3.0 v6 engine. It has a new air compresser. It has a power drivers seat, power windows (the back seat on the drivers side is not working), cd player, remote door and trunk locks, power mirrors, and overdrive transmission. It gets excellent gas mileage. I have driven this car on several trips and it performs great. the previous owner drove it from Arkansas to Ohio and back and it ran perfect. The car was hit on the passenger side fender at one time but it was repaired professionally. The frame was not bent or the airbags did not deploy, it just bent the fender. It has several new bushings in the front suspension. The odometer reads 88,500 miles and the title states "odometer exempt" because the car is over 8 years old and mileage is not listed on the title. I have a clear Arkansas title that is still in the previous owners name. There are no "engine check" lights that are on while driving. The car is very clean on top and bottom and has 0% rust. What next for Alan Mulally?
Wed, 23 Apr 2014Alan Mulally has emerged as a hero when it comes to American manufacturing. He came to Ford in 2006 after serving as head of Boeing's commercial aircraft division, streamlined operations, sold off the costly elements of its Premier Automotive Group and saved Ford from having to be bailed out by the federal government like its cross-town rivals Chrysler and General Motors did. But as we reported mere days ago, he's widely expected to step down from the chief executive's office at Ford shortly.
So what's next for one of the most successful executives in the business? Hard to say, but don't expect Mulally to disappear into retirement. Though he didn't ultimately take the top job at Microsoft, industry insiders expect to see him in another influential position - likely as a board director or even chairman of another company. (We say "another company" and not Ford because while Bill Ford may have stepped aside as CEO to bring Mulally on board in the first place, we don't see him giving up his chairmanship of the board also.)
Mulally has likely already lined up his next move, and could either announce what that move will be as soon as Ford confirms Mark Fields as his successor, or could wait awhile. Insiders speculate that he could leverage his transportation and aerospace experience into a position at General Electric or a major airline, his manufacturing expertise to benefit a company like Procter & Gamble or his management skills at a consultancy firm.
Ford Mustang GT350 seen and heard in motion for the first time
Fri, 27 Sep 2013We just recently saw our first spy shots of the next-gen hi-po Ford Mustang slated to replace the Shelby GT500, but now we're getting our first look - and listen - of prototypes captured on video. Mustang6g.com has the video (along with some different spy shots), which show that, if nothing else, SVT knows how to tune an exhaust system. The :50 mark is a good example of this, but fast-forward to around 2:00 where the driver revs the engine and really gets on the throttle hard taking off from a stop.
There's still no definitive evidence that the next-gen SVT Mustang - said to be called GT350 - will be naturally aspirated, but it sounds just as menacing as the current Shelby GT500. While the video posted below exhibits the sort of quality that is to be expected from someone driving while trying to film someone who is attempting to elude being filmed, it's still exciting to see and hear this new Mustang in motion.
