2008 FORD TAURUS SEL THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION AND I WILL NOT SELL THIS LOCALLY UNTIL THIS AUCTION ENDS! THIS 2008 FORD TAURUS SEL WAS PURCHASED IN JULY FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER WITH 127000 ON IT AND A BAD ENGINE. I PURCHASED AN ENGINE FOR A 2010 TAURUS WITH 214 MILES ON IT. CAR HAS SINCE BEEN DRIVEN ABOUT 1,200 MILES WITH NEW ENGINE. OIL WAS CHANGED AFTER DRIVEN 500 MILES. THIS CAR IS IN BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND OUT WITH ALL THE SEL OPTIONS, ALMOST NEW TIRES, POWER ADJUSTING BRAKE PEDAL, AUTO-OFF HEADLIGHTS, SUNROOF, KEYLESS ENTRY, POWER HEATED MIRRORS, ETC. COMES WITH TWO SETS OF KEYS AND BOOK. HAS A FEW LITTLE SCRATCHES HERE AND THERE (SHOWN IN PICTURES) BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT IS BASICALLY A NEW CAR. THE MILEAGE ON THE BODY SEEMS LIKE NOTHING SINCE THE CAR IS IN SUCH GOOD CONDITION. BACK SEAT IS GIGANTIC AND LOOKS LIKE NO IT WAS NOT USED MUCH AT ALL. Ford recalls select Explorer, E-Series vans
Tue, 21 Jan 2014Just a few days ago we brought you news that Ford had issued a recall on 28,000 units of the Edge crossover for problems related to the fuel line. But now the Blue Oval has issued recall notices on two more of its larger vehicles.
The first relates to the Explorer, 395 examples of which from the 2011 and 2012 model years were found to have problems with their steering systems if they underwent service after September 1, 2013. An apparent software glitch could lock the steering gear, preventing the driver from steering the vehicle and thereby increasing the risk of a crash. As a result, Ford dealers are being instructed to check their records to identify the problematic vehicles and bring them in to have the steering gear replaced. The second problem revolves around E-Series vans that may develop bubbles in their windshields under hot temperatures. The decrease in visibility through the problematic windshield could - you guessed it - "increase the risk of a crash." As a result, Ford is calling in 4,532 units of the E-150, E-250, E-350 and E-450 vans built in the relatively short window between May 12 and May 26, 2011. Wrap up some fun with Ford's commercial vehicle configurator
Tue, 27 Aug 2013Ford has combined multiple steps into one with its commercial vehicle configurator, which allows users to choose, design and place orders for the Transit, Transit Connect, E-Series vans and F-Series Super Duty trucks.
The most interesting part of the new configurator is a fairly robust design tool. Users are able to choose paint color and wrap the vehicle, and then create their own graphics. No materials are needed - Ford provides numerous background textures, text boxes, plenty of shapes and 20 categories of images including floral, construction, plumbing and skylines. Self-created designs or images can be uploaded to the system as well.

Honda giving away free Civics in Forza Horizon to celebrate launch
Wed, 16 Jan 2013Just a friendly reminder from Honda: The Honda Challenge Pack DLC is now available for Forza Horizon. To reward you for the trouble of pressing a few buttons on your Xbox controller, you'll get the 2013 Honda Civic Coupe, an HPD Rally Fit and a 1986 Honda Civic Si Coupe in your garage, and you'll get them free. The event of the new DLC has also kicked off a photo contest that will reward someone with an Xbox 360 console wrapped in a Honda Civic Si theme.
Otherwise, the word "Challenge" keeps coming up because of the chance to run an online race against IndyCar driver Scott Dixon. The track for that digital throwdown has already been decided by Xbox players who voted before January 8. Yet it's not too late to hop into the Honda section in Xbox Live and lay down a time fast enough for a shot at the title "The Driver That Shellacked Scott Dixon," and meeting the man in person.
