I've owned this Taurus for around 50,000 miles. People get in the car and say wow. It's quiet, reliable, rides nice, and very comfortable for long trips. Most of the miles were put on going on road trips. I live in a smaller town, so the miles are pretty easy. I'm selling to purchase a large van for travel. I know of nothing wrong with this vehicle. I've replaced the battery about a year ago, and the tires in the spring of this year. New wheel alignment too. Other than that, just routine maintenance. Non-smoker. Windshield has a few nicks, but nothing major. The paint and body is good, but has minor wear you would expect on a car with 66,000 low miles. Seats and interior, I would say doesn't really seem very old. I think it's a great car at a fraction of the cost of a new one. You're welcome to come by and take it for a drive before the auction.

Ford brings FPV Falcon production in house [w/video]

For the first time since 1976, Ford of Australia is bringing the assembly of its stonking Ford Performance Vehicle line back in-house to the company's Broadmeadows and Geelong facilities. That's a point of pride for FPV, which builds high-performance versions of the Australian Falcon model like the F6, GS and the heroic GT seen here.
In the video below, we hear FPV employees talking in hushed tones about the important legacy that cars like the GT have for Australian gearheads of all stripes, and how proud they are to say that hand-built machines like this GT R-Spec with its Boss 355 engine are now rolling out of their home base. For our part, we're just dying to drive this version of the Coyote V8; the engine is rocking a "Miami" supercharger from Harrop and makes some 450 horsepower.

2014 Saleen George Follmer Edition Mustang debuts at Lagun Seca

Saleen used the occasion of the race-fueled Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca to announce its new Heritage Collection Lineup. The event was punctuated with the debut of the collection's first member, the 2014 Saleen George Follmer Edition Mustang.
Follmer's name will likely sound familiar to fans of American racing in the 1960s and '70s. The driver competed in Formula One with the Shadow team in 1973, ran the Indianapolis 500, was the Can-Am champion in 1972 and drove stock cars in NASCAR's Winston Cup as well. The multi-disciplined driver is now one of three -the other two being Mark Donohue and Swede Savage - with the honor of upcoming, limited edition Saleen-tuned vehicles..
Follmer's name will likely sound familiar to fans of American racing in the 1960s and '70s.
