The car runs and drivers very good. No known mechanical problems as long as we had it. Never had any issues with it. We changed the oil regularly. It does however have tear and wear that are cosmetic in nature. Please see the pictures. There is a rust spot on the back right side fender. The front of the hood (engine hood) has some scratches on it. There are other scratches on the car that are cosmetic in nature and do not affect the operational nature of the car. The air conditioning in the car did not work the best this last summer. I believe you may have to buy a can of AC liquid and put it in. Tires at some point may need to be rotated and eventually changed. The windshield is cracked but we drove it like that for 3 years. There is a crack in the front bumper. Also the drivers side mirror was glued on. We never had a problem with it as is (glued on). We drove it like this for the past 3 years. This can be an excellent affordable starter car for a student or commuter car. We priced it accordingly. We bought it because we wanted to pay cash for our vehicle and have something that we can just drive around. Nelson Piquet and Nigel Mansell revisit bitter F1 rivalry in... Ford Fusion campaign?
Wed, 23 Jan 2013Formula One World Champions Nelson Piquet and Nigel Mansell haven't been on good terms since the 1986 season, when Piquet joined Mansell at the Williams team and Piquet spent the year privately fuming about not being granted the status of number one driver. Things only got worse from there - even though Piquet won the title the following year with Williams, still partnered with Mansell, the fuming was a lot less private.
They're back together after a 25-year silence, in the city of Porto Alegre, Brazil to drive the new Ford Fusion. Called "Fusion Grand Prix," both men get the new Ford sedan, prepped to their liking - but still street legal, we assume - for a race to decide... well, who is faster behind the wheel of a Fusion.
There will be four episodes, with the first two having already aired. The third episode comes on January 29 and the race happens February 5. You'll find two video episodes and a press release below, but note - because it's a campaign for Ford Brazil, Piquet's dialogue in the vids isn't translated, so hit the Closed Captioning button to hear his side of the smack talking.

That's quite a legacy, and thus, it's no surprise that Ford worked super-duper-extra hard on creating the all-new, aluminum-bodied 2015 F-150 that debuted at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.
During an event at the company's headquarters in Dearborn, MI this week, we were able to see all of the ways that Ford endurance tests, not just the new F-150, but all of its vehicles. From examining things like light exposure to interior materials and paint finishes, to making sure that corrosion absolutely does not happen when steel components come in contact with aluminum panels in the new truck. The goal: ensure that the new F-150 is nothing short of "Built Ford Tough."
But that's only a small part of the story. Of course, the new F-150 has to be able to withstand whatever a pickup buyer might throw at it - and truck buyers arguably demand the most from their vehicles. So in an effort to convey just what the new F-150 had to go through before being given the final go-ahead, Ford has released a series of videos, showing how its new halo truck was indeed torture tested.
