2001 Ford Taurus Ses Sedan.. No Reserve! on 2040-cars
United States
Hello there,
This is a 2001 Ford Taurus SES 4 door sedan for sale. It has the wiring needed for sub woofers or a new stereo in place and high quality window tinting. It has 153,330 miles and gets around 18-22 in town and 20-25 miles per gallon on the highway. It has a reliable transmission and motor that will last another 100,000 if cared for properly. Just changed the front brakes and had the headlamps restored. It comes with 2 sets of keys, 1 key less entry pad, and a spare tire. The only issues with this vehicle are that the A/C needs to be charged to blow cold air and it could use a new set of tires. The blower works fine and all the switches are in operational condition. Interior is in decent shape for its age, and the exterior does have some dents on the driver's side but nothing very significant. The car is located in southwestern Ohio and the current owner is willing to take either cash in hand for the balance or money order in hand. Paypal for the entire balance is acceptable as well. Deliveries must be arranged and paid for by the new owner. The current owner holds this vehicle in as is condition and offers no warranties either express or implied in the sale of this vehicle. |

Ford to add more than 2,000 jobs in Kansas City
Thu, 02 May 2013Continued high demand for the Ford F-150, along with the addition of the all-new Transit series of commercial vehicles, has led Ford to announce that it will add over 2,000 jobs at its Kansas City Assembly Plant. At the time of the announcement, the plant boasts 2,450 hourly employees working on two shifts. All told, Ford will invest $1.1 billion in the Kansas City plant to expand truck production and begin producing the Transit series.
According to the automaker, fullsize truck sales are up 19 percent through April of 2013, leading to an additional 900 workers and a third shift of production for the F-150. Production of the Transit series will begin in the fourth quarter of this year, requiring an additional 1,100 workers. In addition, Ford estimates that a total of 18,000 jobs will be created by suppliers to its Kansas City plant to support the additional vehicle production.

Ford ST Octane Academy [w/video]
Wed, 04 Jun 2014
The ST school is about more than just handbrake turns, hot laps, and sliding into parking spaces.
I felt like such a rock star. On my second pass around the UrbanCross course (read: fancy autocross) at the Ford ST Octane Academy, I absolutely nailed the exit, sliding the bright-yellow Focus ST sideways into a box the size of a parking space, all four wheels in line.
2015 Gordon McCall's Motorworks Revival
Thu, Aug 13 2015Considered the big kick off of the major festivities surrounding Monterey Car Week, this year's Gordon McCall's Motorworks Revival certainly didn't disappoint. For those unable to make it to the California coast, our own Drew Phillips was on hand to snap some of the beautiful vehicles on display for this gorgeous gallery. Held annually at the Monterey Jet Center, the event is always a feast for the eyes by collecting planes, a gang of exotic supercars, and some the top cars crossing the auction block over the coming days, like a Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda convertible. The Ford GT both new and old was a major attendee at this year's party. Among them, the Petersen Museum brought along an original racecar and a GT40 MKIII to promote an upcoming exhibit. The classics were complimented by the latest version that has continued to keep tongues wagging. The GT wasn't the only classic with a modern update there. Singer used the posh event for the North American debut of its stunning restoration of the Porsche 911 Targa. Shelby American was also at the revival for the public unveiling of the 50th Anniversary Daytona Coupe. On the more modern front, Honda was in attendance with the future NSX and one of the McLaren F1 cars that the company's engine powers. For further proof of the ritzy folks that attend this soiree, Pagani and Koenigsegg both had stands to show off their extremely quick wares.
