1993 Ford Taurus SHO 3.0 V6 5 speed manual transmission. The motor runs good and transmission and clutch are good. Heater works great and moonroof works. It also has a clear title. Has a newer starter with a lifetime warranty. It has 240,000 miles of which we put on 190,000 of those miles. This would be best used as a parts car, but could be put back on the road if the issues are fixed. The issues with this car are as follows. 2 of them are major and that's why we stopped driving the car and would highly recommend getting them fixed before driving. The rear driver's side engine craddle (where it mounts to the car is rusted out). When you turn or go around a corner you can feel the front end shift. The rear passenger side strut is broke. The body is rusty as you can see in the pics (especially in the quarter panels). Only the driver's window works. Rear disc brakes are removed due to lines being rusted and calipers being froze up, so I removed them. Air and cruise control do not work. The car runs very good, but with all the issues, it should be a parts car. This is why it is listed under parts. Car is recommended to be trailered or towed away. Please email me with any questions. Car must be picked up, no shipping is offered. A $100 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end via Paypal and balance is due within 7 days via cash or paypal.

Lincoln 'not true luxury' yet, says Ford design chief
Wed, 28 Aug 2013Lincoln is "not true luxury," according to Ford's design boss, J Mays. His statements come from a story in The Detroit News that saw candid language on the issues facing Ford's troubled premium brand. Notably, there's a need for a strong character, with Mays saying, "Every brand needs to have a DNA and a unique selling point and things in the vehicle that make you think, 'That's that particular brand.'"
With a range of rebadged Fords, it's not hard to see why that DNA is missing. Mays hinted that a full recovery for Lincoln will be a ten-year process, that's been kicked off with the MKZ sedan. While that car is still largely a Ford Fusion under its extremely pretty wrapper, it's the first Lincoln in some time to inject its own unique take both through the exterior styling and through interior features, such as the vertical, pushbutton gear selection.
Some analysts weren't so certain about Mays' 10-year estimate. Jim Hall of 2953 Analytics thinks it'll be more like 30 years before Lincoln can show a true return to form. The issue, as Hall explains it, is that, "luxury has a degree of exclusivity," that Lincoln just doesn't have. Michelle Krebs from Edmunds adds, "it's definitely a wanna-be luxury brand," comparing the troubled American brand with Infiniti and Acura, two other brands that have struggled to find their place in the luxury market.

Four Wheeler crowns Ultimate Factory 4x4... who wins?
Thu, 15 Nov 2012Nearly every automaker doing business in the SUV or pickup truck segments offers a package designed to improve the off-road capabilities of its wares. But, of course, not all such factory kits are created equal. How, then, to separate the wheat from the chaff? Gather each of them up and put them through their paces, naturally.
The folks from Four Wheeler and PickupTrucks.com joined forces to run just such a comparison test, with the winner named the Ultimate Factory 4x4. A total of seven vehicles showed up to the fight: the 2012 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, 2012 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X and Xterra PRO-4X, 2012 Ram Power Wagon, and 2012 Toyota 4Runner Trail and Tacoma TRD T|X Baja Series.
With the contestants in place, the whole crew put each vehicle through a battery of tests that included skidpad and acceleration measurements, a hillclimb, a rocky stairstep course and a rock garden. Considering the nature of the beasts, on-road ride and comfort were not part of the routine.
