For sale is this very nice very well maintained 2004 Ford Ranger. It has the 3.0L 6-cylinder motor and automatic transmission with only 146,945 miles on it. It runs excellent and has a gray leather interior that is very clean, it does have the usual wear & tear but I am being meticulous as I am honest and descriptive as possible in my auctions. It has cold A/C and AM/FM stereo w/ cassette player. It is an extremely nice truck, runs great and has a very long life ahead of it. This is a GREAT little truck, inside and out. Serious buyers can call the shop at 717-417-5092 or cell 717-747-4169 with any questions, ask for Dean. We are a used car dealer, and is being sold AS-IS. We do charge a $100.00 documentation fee for the sale of a vehicle. This vehicle will also be listed locally and we reserve the right to end this auction early. This is an absolute auction! If you win the auction, it is YOURS! Don't expect to come "test drive" it, THEN decide if you will buy it or not. This is an online auction. Bidders with 0 feedback are required to call before placing your bid. A $500.00 deposit is required within 24 hours of the auction end, and can be made via credit card or paypal, paypal account is dealswheels@comcast.net. Deposits are non-refundable. Fly in or have it shipped, we can provide shippers at the buyers expense. I am as accurate as possible in my descriptions, but keep in mind you are buying a USED vehicle, it is NOT brand new. I put this statement in all my auctions because some people do just that. Then the seller has to relist it and pay more fees. It is unfair to a seller.

Would a Mustang-based Lincoln look like this?
Mon, 07 Jan 2013Designer Josiah LaCalla has taken a stab at what a Ford Mustang-based Lincoln model might look like with the Continental Mark X1 concept. Make no mistake, Ford's luxury arm has made it abundantly clear that it won't be pursuing any new products outside of volume models, which means a flashy halo grand tourer like the one you see here isn't in the cards. LaColla used the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG as a basis for his creation, which explains the long nose, but we certainly don't mind the idea of a rear-wheel drive Lincoln with a cabin pushed to the aft.
While we're dreaming, there's certainly nothing stopping us from imagining what's under that lengthy hood. We like the idea of the 5.8-liter supercharged V8 from the Shelby GT500 pushing the Mark X1 down the road, but how about something a little more inventive? Something like a high-revving, buttery V12 with enough torque to push the contraption well past 200 miles per hour. Dream a little dream, people.
Ford using robot drivers to test durability [w/video]
Sun, 16 Jun 2013In testing the durability of its upcoming fullsize Transit vans, Ford has begun using autonomous robotic technology to pilot vehicles through the punishing courses of its Michigan Proving Grounds test facility. The autonomous tech allows Ford to run more durability tests in a single day than it could with human drivers, as well as create even more challenging tests that wouldn't be safe to run with a human behind the wheel.
The technology being used was developed by Utah-based Autonomous Solutions, and isn't quite like the totally autonomous vehicles being developed by companies like Google and Audi for use out in the real world. Rather, Ford's autonomous test vehicles follow a pre-programmed course and their position is tracked via GPS and cameras that are being monitored from a central control room. Though the route is predetermined, the robotic control module operates the steering, acceleration and braking to keep the vehicle on course as it drives over broken concrete, cobblestones, metal grates, rough gravel, mud pits and oversize speed bumps.
Scroll down to watch the robotic drivers in action, though be warned that you're headed for disappointment if you expect to see a Centurion behind the wheel (nerd alert!). The setup looks more like a Mythbusters experiment than a scene from Battlestar Galactica.
