Red Ranchero 500 390 Windsor Stroker, Efi, 4wheel Disc, Ac, Ps, Power Windows on 2040-cars
Wheat Ridge, Colorado, United States
1967 Ford Rachero 500 390 EFI Resto Mod/Pro touring car This truck is Fast and Beautiful. It handle and stops better than any pick up you have ever driven too. I am a
professional car builder and well known diagnostician and technician I built
this truck for me but my family has decided they like going to car events
for me so we are needing a few more seating positions and I don't have enough
room for this one and I can't stand to have it sit around without being
enjoyed. You are buying this car for 30% of the cost to build it or more
to the point you are buying the paint and I am throwing in one really
nice hot rod. The body and interior were media blasted and made laser straight including sand and fill across panels for that show car look. All repairs were done with the car on a rotisserie. All the blocking was done this way too so even the bottom of the car is straight if you look up at it. The color is the 2009 Ford F series Red which is pretty close to the original 67 red but much easier to match. All of the stainless on the car has been polished, all of the chrome has been completely restored including the dash parts (over $1100 just in the interior chrome bezels of the gauges and A/C vents) Nearly every system on it has been upgraded from lighting and wiring to a complete redesign of the suspension for better ride and handling than Ranchero's normally had. Here is the list:

Suspension The
factory suspension has been plotted in my Lotus suspension design software
to improve several areas. Moved the
upper control arms to better locations for better camber curve and anti dive.
(similar to the Shelby mod on the mustangs) Removed the
springs from the upper control arms and utilized adjustable air coil overs
on the lower control arms to lower the spring roll pivot points. Custom
adjustable upper coil over seats on the front. Boss
Mustang style lower frame rail supports welded in All new

is a Rocker arm like a Formula 1 car. The Air coil overs are horizontal mounted
and attach to the rocker arms and pushrods down to the rear end. This reduces
unsprung weight and keeps the rear from bouncing over rough roads and there is
no wheel hop from this suspension.

Weekly Recap: Matthew McConaughey's star shines brightly for Lincoln
Sat, Jan 3 2015The commercials were a little strange at first, but the ensuing spoofs were hilarious. And all jokes aside, Matthew McConaughey has made a difference for Lincoln. Advertisements starring the Oscar winner launched in September, and the results have been impressive. The number of customers clicking on Lincoln.com to check out the MKC – the crossover McConaughey pitched – has tripled since the ads began airing, a spokesman told Autoblog. They also generated 4.4 million views on YouTube and spawned parodies by Ellen DeGeneres, Conan O'Brien, South Park and Jim Carrey on Saturday Night Live, which racked up another 15 million views. Most importantly, Lincoln's sales have increased 15 percent through November, helped significantly by the strong launch of the MKC. Without the addition of the MKC, Lincoln's sales would have been essentially flat last year. The MKC has received solid reviews from consumers and the press, though it has had several recalls. "The overwhelming response to the MKC campaign sparked truly great awareness for Lincoln," Andrew Frick, Lincoln group marketing manager, said in a statement. Now Lincoln has launched another round of spots, which kicked off New Year's Day during college football bowl games. This time, McConaughey is hawking the MKZ sedan and its hybrid sibling. The spots, called Diner and Balance, use the same artistic formula as the earlier ads, with McConaughey intoning seriously about the cars in dramatic settings. They were shot over two days in Los Angeles and were directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, a Danish filmmaker who directed the 2011 move, Drive. The ads continue Lincoln's multiyear deal with McConaughey, who has said he's been long been interested in the brand. He starred in the 2011 thriller, The Lincoln Lawyer, as a defense attorney who worked out of a Town Car, though that was before his deal with Lincoln. In one of the earlier ads, McConaughey claims: "I've been driving a Lincoln since long before anybody paid me to drive one. I didn't do it to be cool. I didn't to it to make a statement. I just liked it." That sentiment appears to have worked for the MKC's launch, and with this new advertising blitz, Lincoln hopes it carries over to the MKZ. Ford wins second consecutive International Van of the Year award with Transit Connect
Wed, 18 Sep 2013The redesigned 2014 Ford Transit Connect isn't even on sale yet, but it's already making its presence felt around the world. At a commercial vehicle expo in Russia, the Transit Connect was named the International Van of the Year.
Ford's small work van edged out the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter by just seven points to allow Ford to grab this honor for the second consecutive year, which it won last year with the Transit Custom. Not only does this make Ford the first to ever win the award in back-to-back years, but it's also the fifth time the automaker has won this award since 2003 (two with the Transit Connect, two with the fullsize Transit and once with the Transit Custom). Ford congratulates itself for the accomplishment in a press release posted below.
Ford Focus RS ready to make our hot hatch dreams real
Fri, 17 Oct 2014Ford's current hot hatch siblings the Fiesta ST and Focus ST are already two pretty great entries into the segment, but there's always a desire for a little more. Thankfully, it looks like the Blue Oval is ready to satiate that need because it's continuing to test the even more powerful Focus RS around Europe. According to our spy shooters, these shots come from near the Nürburgring.
As with previous photos, Ford engineers continue to heavily camouflage the front end of the RS prototypes, but there's a big difference here. Unlike earlier ones, this example appears to have a closer-to-production-ready front bumper rather than just a horizontal strip for the license plate. That may point to development getting somewhat closer to wrapping up. Although, this one lacks the larger rear wing from prior testers, and the exhaust also appears to be a work in progress with the rear diffuser covered in mesh in these latest shots.
The RS is rumored to be using the 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder from the 2015 Mustang, but power is reportedly turned up from 310 horsepower in the 'Stang to somewhere between 325 hp and 350 hp for the Focus. Routing all that just through the front wheels could be a recipe for serious torque steer, and all-wheel drive is potentially being used for better traction.
