  • The Dyno Sheets before the motor was rebuilt showed max rear wheel horse of 354 and max torque of 389. Usually on a fresh motor you gain 20-30 HP.

This car runs like a raped ape you can break them loose through third gear no problem up to 40MPH. Pulls strong and shows rich along full throttle according to Autometer Air/Fuel gauge. I think that the car could benefit from another tune just to crisp up the top end range. I believe it to have been re-geared but im not certain. 80MPH on fwy tach showes 2500 RPM. The front tires are worn on the edges and the rears are about 40% remaining. Other than the tires on the front worn and flashing the PCM the car would be absolutely 100%. Any questions feel free to call me at 909-489-3349 my name is Skye or call the office 909-985-6200. Feel free to make an appt and stop on by to see this wicked mustang. I stand behind this car 100% if you buy this car and pick it up locally I will gladly refund your money if its not what I described.

Motor Trend pits Subaru WRX vs. Ford Focus ST

Thu, 23 Jan 2014

The Ford Focus ST has enjoyed a relatively calm, if brief, reign in the world of hot hatches. With nothing else in the class (in the States, at least) but the aging Mazdaspeed3 and Subaru Impreza WRX and the slow-selling Volkswagen Golf R, the Blue Oval's 252-horsepower five door has been the go-to vehicle for those that don't need the high-octane lunacy (and expense) of the rally bred Subaru Impreza WRX STI and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X.
Now, though, as the new Subaru WRX (it's not an Impreza anymore, though, neither is it a hatchback...) starts to arrive at dealers, the Focus ST appears to be under threat for the first time. Naturally, Motor Trend is here to figure out which one is the best, with another one of its Head 2 Head videos. Host Jonny Lieberman puts both cars through their paces, going above and beyond, quite literally, at the very end of the video.

Ford reflects on radical Mustang concept that never reached showrooms

Tue, 25 Jun 2013

The Ford Mustang that we all know and love made major waves in the auto industry way back in 1964 by offering style and reasonable pricing with optional V8 power. Its long hood and short rear deck, combined with a low-slung and sporty cockpit, made a lasting impression in the minds of consumers and car designers alike, and its basic shape has so endured the test of time that it's still in use today.
This being the case, you may be interested to know that the first Mustang of 1964.5 wasn't actually the first Mustang at all, being preceded by a concept car that made its public debut in 1962. This concept was nothing like the car that would eventually make it into production, with a radical wedge shape and a small V4 engine sitting behind the car's two occupants, driving the rear wheels. In other words, the conceptual Mustang was pretty much the complete opposite of the production Mustang besides the name.
Ford has kindly decided go through its massive archive to bring the original Mustang concept back into the public eye. The company goes so far as to pose this question to fans of the pony car: "Should we borrow a few of these style elements for the next iteration of the Mustang?" Check out our image gallery above and then let 'em know what you think in the Comments below.
