1952 Ford F3 Flathead V8 4 Speed Shortbed Oak Rat Rod Classic Restored 6 Volt on 2040-cars
McCune, Kansas, United States
Up for sale is a 1952 ford f3 flathead v8 4 speed manual drive pickup. This truck used to have a 9 foot bed on it. The bed was refabricated to a short bed. the drive train is believed to be all original to the truck. This truck has been restored and looks great. Has a very slick base coat clear coat paint job. New oak boards and strips in the bed along with rechromed front and rear bumper. the interior has been completely redone with new seat, carpet, glove box, seat belts, steering wheel, turn signal, and head liner. There are new tires and rims all the way around the truck and the pictures can tell you more. I am selling this truck for a friend of mine that had it restored. He thought he would have a truck redone for his retirement and go to car shows. But he decided it wasn't his thing and would rather hunt, fish, and enjoy other activities than sit at a car show all day long. This is a very nice truck inside and out and I'm not sure on the miles because I forgot to look but it runs great. If you have any questions please feel free to call or email me at anytime. 620-778-1669 my name is Jesse. This truck is forsale locally and I reserve the right to end this auction at anytime. This truck is being sold as is with no warranties expressed or implied. If someone wins this auction the pickup must be picked up within 30 days unless prior arrangements are made or they forfeit the money paid or deposited and the truck resumes the property of the seller. If decided to pay with paypal the buyer will pay any extra fees. Thanks a remember if you have any questions don't be afraid of calling or emailing. Low reserve so bid to win and have a great holiday.

Ford readying Ranger-based Everest SUV?
Fri, 21 Feb 2014Way back in August, we showed you a Ford concept for the Australian market called the Everest. Now, we can show you that work on the new Ranger-based SUV is well under way.
At this stage, it's still quite clearly a mule (note the misalignment of the front and rear doors), wearing the Ranger's front end and the rump of Ford's overseas Territory crossover. The wheelbase is shorter than a Ranger, according to our spy photographers, which strikes us as somewhat odd for a more passenger-oriented vehicle. Disc brakes should be fitted at all four corners, while the new SUV, which will almost certainly wear the Everest name, should sport a new rear suspension.
In terms of looks, we're expecting the Everest Concept to inform the appearance of the production model. Naturally, there will also be some interior tweaks, particularly around the dashboard, which is covered in these photos.

Truckmakers squabbling over who can sell Jimmy Fallon a pickup
Sat, 08 Mar 2014Snagging a celebrity endorsement is a big deal for automakers, as evidenced by the recent efforts of the Detroit Three to try and woo The Tonight Show's newest host, Jimmy Fallon, into one of their trucks.
After announcing during Wednesday night's show that he was in the market for a pickup truck, Fallon set off a firestorm of efforts on Twitter, with both Ford and Chevrolet petitioning the funnyman to test out a truck. According to Ad Age, Ford recommended the King Ranch edition of its next-generation F-150 while the show was still airing. Chevy, meanwhile, waited until the next morning to pitch a Silverado to Fallon.
The winner of this social media feeding frenzy, though, was Ram. Promoting a variation of its "Guts, Glory, Ram" tagline, the Auburn Hills-based manufacturer created the hashtag #GUTSGLORYFallon. It even went so far as to park a Ram 1500 outside 30 Rockefeller Center in New York, where The Tonight Show is filmed. On the back of the Ram sat a sign, reading "Big enough, Jimmy? Test it out," referencing a joke from the Wednesday show.
