This is a nice running all steel survivor with clear title. By no means perfect, but a project worth pursuing. When I bought it from the state forestry service it was a rusted relic near headed for the junk heap. It has undergone extensive cancer surgery to nearly all panels. I have used like gage metal and replaced bed floor and crossmembers with like metal and steel supports. Has new water pumps and heater. Two carb manifold and they are model 94s. Still a 6 volt electrical system with new wiring under hood. All guages work and lights. No turn signals on this model. Wipers are still the vacuum type with refurbished motor. New windshield but door vent windows are cracked. I have all trim pieces and they are in good condition. Truck is a driver, engine runs well. Trans is the old double clutch 4spd. w/granny 1st gear. I have a 3spd trans that goes with truck, also a low speed orignal differential. Selling to highest bidder over my reserve. Bid well and be lucky. Winner is responsable for shipping after payment by paypal for deposit and cleared cashiers check or money order for remainder. One might ask why I,m selling this fine piece of machinery? Well, I'm turning 70 years young and have to finish a 1951 f1 project before my hands won't let me do this anymore. Nuff said!

2015 Ford F-150 configurator is ready to go to work
Thu, 25 Sep 2014Ford is inching towards the on-sale date for the eagerly anticipated, aluminum F-150 pickup. While we're preparing to drive the new truck (expect our take on it sooner rather than later), the best-seller has reached another, albeit more minor, milestone as its online configurator has officially been switched on.
We took to Ford's consumer website to mess about with it and see just how ridiculous of a truck we can build. Among the fun things we discovered were these two nuggets - the most expensive truck we could configure was not the top-end Platinum model, but instead the King Ranch, which rang up at $65,955. The other exciting discovery? The new truck would be available in a questionable shade called Blue Jeans (shown above with the optional contrasting Caribou paint). Yep, Blue Jeans.
You can head over to Ford's consumer page and build your very own aluminum F-150 now. Take a look.
Here's the new face of the Ford Ranger
Thu, Nov 27 2014Ford Asia Pacific has put a teaser video on YouTube showing off details on the 2015 Ranger pickup, and at the end we get a quick glimpse of the whole truck. This is the T6 Ranger that we still don't get in North America, but that shares its underpinnings with the Everest SUV recently introduced at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum. The Ranger gets a chunkier front end than the Everest, identified by its grille with three floating slats, reminiscent of designs on the previous F-150, and a less-stylized lower front bumper. Ford says it will be smarter, safer, smoother and stronger, but we'll have to wait for its reveal to find out what that means. Meanwhile, you can admire its new looks in the video below.
