1950 Ford F-1 Pickup This truck runs great, just pump the gas pedal one time, and it fires right up, doesn't smoke at all. It has the 4-speed transmission. Brakes have been redone with new master cly, wheel clys, metal lines, the three rubber lines, and the brakes shoes looked new so they were cleaned, and adjusted. The man that I got it from said the drives door had a dent in it, and he had a good door so he replaced it, and also he had a better bed, and rear fenders that he put on it. He also stripped the paint down to metal on the hood, and tops of the front fenders, and primed them. The truck is originally from Oklahoma. The windshield, and passenger door glass is cracked. It has some rust in the normal places that I took pictures of, it has some in the lower front fenders below the grill, two place were the fenders bolt to the running boards, the running boards need replaced, some small places in the upper front fenders were they bolt to the lower ones, and a small place in the right front floorboard that I think could just be weld up, and not replaced. The bed still has the metal floor that is in great shape with the old wood under it. The speed-o-meter, temp gauge, and oil gauge are working, I haven't checked the gas gauge or amp gauge to see if I could get them working maybe something simple. Over all this would be a great truck to fix up or restore. Truck is being sold on a bill of sale only. If you have any questions you can email with eBay, and also by phone. Cell 404-867-3163 Thanks

Ken Block ain't got a care about ruining his wheels
Tue, 22 Jan 2013During a drifting session at Irwindale Speedway in California, Ken Block made a boo-boo that would send a number of drivers immediately back to the infield. But there's an answer to "What do you do when you bash the wall while drifting and your wheel explodes?" and there's completely different answer when the question begins with the phrase, "When you're Ken Block..."
Instead of us telling you how Block handled the calamity in his Ford Fiesta competition car, you can watch it happen in the video below. You can probably also guess what it is - but it's more fun to watch.
Ford Recalls '13 Escape For 11th Time
Fri, Aug 15 2014Only in dealer showrooms for two years now, the 2013 Ford Escape has already been recalled for safety hazards 11 times. The most recent recall for the beleaguered vehicle came Friday, when the company announced it was recalling almost 160,000 Escapes and Focus ST hatchbacks from the '13 and '14 model years because of a wiring problem that could cause the engine to stall. Caused by a faulty wiring harness, Ford said the defect could result in reduced power, hesitation or outright stalling. The company said it knew of no crashes or injuries caused by the flaw. Customers affected will be notified by mail. It was the latest problem for a vehicle beset by recalls from the moment it started rolling off the assembly lines. Starting on July 6, 2012, the '13 Escapes have been recalled for an assortment of problems, including multiple hazards with fuel lines that could result in engine fires, fluid leaks in the engine that could also result in fires, problems with engines overheating, delays in airbags deploying and more. Truckmakers squabbling over who can sell Jimmy Fallon a pickup
Sat, 08 Mar 2014Snagging a celebrity endorsement is a big deal for automakers, as evidenced by the recent efforts of the Detroit Three to try and woo The Tonight Show's newest host, Jimmy Fallon, into one of their trucks.
After announcing during Wednesday night's show that he was in the market for a pickup truck, Fallon set off a firestorm of efforts on Twitter, with both Ford and Chevrolet petitioning the funnyman to test out a truck. According to Ad Age, Ford recommended the King Ranch edition of its next-generation F-150 while the show was still airing. Chevy, meanwhile, waited until the next morning to pitch a Silverado to Fallon.
The winner of this social media feeding frenzy, though, was Ram. Promoting a variation of its "Guts, Glory, Ram" tagline, the Auburn Hills-based manufacturer created the hashtag #GUTSGLORYFallon. It even went so far as to park a Ram 1500 outside 30 Rockefeller Center in New York, where The Tonight Show is filmed. On the back of the Ram sat a sign, reading "Big enough, Jimmy? Test it out," referencing a joke from the Wednesday show.
