1937 Ford Wildrod Pick-up.Brand new build only 250 miles on truck.This is the baddest pro street truck on the planet!!!!!!!. The engine is a LS6 468 cid with a dual quad set up,,870 lift roller comp cam and valve train.The heads are fully ported and polished with 2.30 and 1.88 valves. Best of everything used in this engine and is pushing 800hp.The engine has a custom engine cover.This engine sounds incredible. The paint is House of colors ultra blue and the ultra silver and is flawless. The chassis is custom made for this truck with 4-link rear suspension and mustang 2 front end. The truck has WillWood disc brakes all around and has complete air ride technology ride system. This truck has power steering, power brakes and power windows. The wheels are billet specialty front 18x7 and the rear are 20x16 with mickey thompson tires.Truck has a 9" ford nodular rear with 430 gears and a detroit locker center section.The interior is all custom made with the seats being molded into the body for an amazing look. 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost already hitting 12-second quarters
Sun, 28 Sep 2014The arrival of a new Ford Mustang means many things to many people, but not least of them is drag racers. The pony car has always been a mainstay of the drag strip, and the Ford Racing team aims to carry that reputation forward with this latest generation. So it cooked up a few basic modifications on three new 'Stangs and headed to the strips at US 131 and Milan Dragway to see what they could coax out of 'em.
Impressively, the 5.0-liter V8 Mustang GT with a few modifications (but no forced induction) managed to clock a quarter-mile time of 11.77 seconds. Another Mustang GT fitted with a supercharger clocked a blistering 10.97 seconds. But just as intriguing was the modified EcoBoost model that, with only four cylinders and 2.3 liters of displacement, still passed the gates in just 12.56 seconds - nearly half a second better than expected. This with modification limited to a new subframe, half-shaft, drive shaft loops, exhaust, engine calibration, slicks, roll cage and bucket seat. Well done, boys.
