Ever wanted to go back in time? Well now is your chance. This 1999 Cobra is in EXCELLENT condition. This car came fully loaded on the inside and under the hood as well with a 320HP 4.6L DOHC V8. This is #1509 of 4040 Cobra's produced in 1999. It comes with all documentation including the SVT certificate, Cobra only parking signs, and special gift (book) from Ford commorating their 35th anniversary. I am the second owner of this car. I originally purchased it with 23,000 miles in June 2010 from a friends father who kept insane records on the car. It has always been adult driven, garaged, and driven only twice in the rain (got caught in a storm). The car came to me BONE stock. I have added window tint, a Kenwood Stereo, Magnaflow Catted X pipe, SLP LM2 Exhaust, and a MGW short throw shifter. I still have the original H-pipe, Cat back system, Shifter and stereo if you want them as well. I have changed the oil every 3,000 miles with royal purple and added a new set of tires, Continental Extreme Contact DW's. Please email me with any questions regarding this car. I really don't want to sell her however I need more space in the garage for more toys and she has got to go. Thanks for looking and happy shopping!

Consumer Reports says Toyota, Ford, Honda and Chevy are big winners in brand perception survey
Wed, 05 Feb 2014According to Consumer Reports, the automotive brands that stand out in the minds of car buyers are, in order: Toyota, Ford, Honda and Chevrolet. This news comes after the magazine polled its readers, asking them to take into account vehicle quality, safety, performance, value, fuel economy, design/style, and technology/innovation - which are the factors that car shoppers are most influenced by.
It's important to note that this award is only about perception. In other words, it's perceived quality, not actual quality. "Often, perception can be a trailing indicator, reflecting years of good or bad performance in a category, and it can also be influenced by headlines in the media," said Jeff Bartlett, Consumer Reports deputy automotive editor.
The brand that made the biggest jump in perception amongst Consumer Reports readers is Tesla, which posted an impressive 47-point gain to finish in fifth place. Subaru is also notable for finishing in the top 10, despite being one of the smaller manufacturers doing business in the US. Scroll down below for all the details from Consumer Reports, if you're so inclined.

Ford Announces Free Brake-Pad Offer If Customers Stop By Dealers
Mon, Aug 4 2014These days, when you buy a new car, it's not unreasonable to expect a certain period of free maintenance to come along as well. Sometimes this is through the life of the warranty, in other cases a little less. But Ford Motor Company is going beyond those deals for at least one part of its cars. As of now, if you buy a set of Motorcraft brake pads for a Ford, Lincoln or Mercury model, you get free replacements for as long as you own the vehicle. The offer is good at Ford or Lincoln dealers and Quick Lane Tire & Auto Centers. "We will replace the pads for as long as you own the vehicle," said Elizabeth Weigandt to Autoblog. She did clarify that the Motorcraft pads are generally for models from the '90s or newer. Also, to take advantage of this program, a person must return to the same dealer each time to get the free parts. Of course, Ford isn't just handing out brake pads to anyone who walks by; there are certain stipulations. First, the components have to be worn down to less than three millimeters to be eligible, and the buyer still has to pay for the labor to install them. If the model is used as a fleet vehicle for commercial purposes like as a taxi or limousine, this offer also doesn't apply; the same thing for racecars. On the plus side, if you recently bought a set of pads from one of the participating locations, you're still in luck. The deal covers parts purchased as of July 1. "This program reflects our commitment to providing customers with an excellent ownership experience regardless of the age of their vehicle," said Frederiek Toney, President of Ford Customer Service, in the company's announcement of the offer.
