For sale is a 1999 Ford SVT Mustang Cobra. It has just under 30,000 miles on it ans has been well taken care of. Under the hood is a 4.6lt DOHC engine that has a chrome cold air intake, a chrome mass air acufab throttle body, a chrome strut brace, new coil covers, and underdrive pullies not yet istalled. 30lb fuel injectors plus adaptors. It also has red neon lights underneath and the body has the 2000 Corbra R Nose and a wing cowl induction hood and carbon fiber trunk lid. It has been lowered 2inches with Eibach springs andf has 18X9.5 chrome 2000 Cobra R wheels and BF Goodrich tires. Also has a Ford Motor Sport Headers, Off Road X-pipe and SLP loud mouth exhaust. Also 4.10 gears with a Detroit locker and a 2000 Cobra R anti wheel hop bar. Rio Red Outside, black leather inside. 5spd and tinted windows. Also has baer cross drilled and slotted rotor. Has Cobra callipers and new pads with a Sct CPU programmer. I also have all the original parts as well. Payment is cash only at the time of pick up. Enterprise working with renter's insurance to cover $47k Mustang stolen from its lot
Sat, 11 Jan 2014There was more than a bit of public indigence following the recent story of Enterprise Rent-A-Car billing a customer $47,000 to replace a Ford Mustang GT Convertible stolen from a Nova Scotia lot. To recap: Kristen Cockerill rented the Mustang for two days, returned it to the lot on a Sunday and left the keys in a secure dropbox only for Enterprise employees to find the car gone the next day.
Despite Enterprise policies stating that customers are responsible for vehicles dropped on off-days, the company has admitted that the situation could've been handled a bit better.
In a recent statement, Enterprise has backed off the big-bill story, and claims to be working with Cockerill and her insurance company to resolve the issue. Further, the Enterprise general manager overseeing Nova Scotia has spoken with the harried renter, and apologized "for the way this claim was handled during the last few months."

Fitting Retirement: Grand Marquis last Mercury off the line
Wed, 05 Jan 2011The signs have come down and retail production ended back in October of 2010. Now, the very last Mercury model has rolled off the assembly line. This last Mercury somewhat fittingly takes the form of a Grand Marquis reporting for fleet duty. It was built at the St. Thomas plant in Ontario, Canada, which is the same facility that continues to produce the Ford Crown Victoria and Lincoln Town Car for fleet and livery duty.
St. Thomas' days are numbered, however, as the factory is slated to close on August 31. When it goes, the Panther platform is likely to follow. So long, and thanks for all the fish memories.
