Available is a 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback. It needs to be restored, but it's all there, including the original keys. All the FB interior pieces, fold down rear seat. All the glass and stainless is good, the doors close tight, the windows roll up and down good. The dash pad is original and nice for it's age. The original AM radio is still in place. The lights, wipers and heater blower all work. The entire interior is original...tired, but original (good headliner)! The trunk lid and hood don't have any rust. There is a dent in the passenger door in the center by the door fender gap.
It's a C Code with the original 289. Everything under the hood is original except the 4bbl and aluminum intake. The Mustang runs and drives good, it's quick. The brakes pull a little to the right. The manifold on the driver's side is cracked so there is an exhaust leak. It starts right up, doesn't seem to leak or burn any oil. The transmission shifts good, even the light works on the indicator. It has a decent set of magnums. The floors and rockers are in good condition. The rear quarter are rusted, so are the rear drop offs, torque boxes and front frame rails. The bottoms of the front quarters have some rust lower by the rocker trim. They are okay for a driver, but will need to be worked or replaced if the car gets the restoration it deserves. Every body panel appears to be original. The best I can tell it's only been repainted once. Comes with new pair of front frame rails, and a new left repop quarter skin, and a bag of misc parts.
The reason I bought it is because it's a Red fastback with matching fender stamp, door tag, and title...and it's all there!!! There really isn't anything in this price range. It's the cheapest running FB on Ebay. Almost everything is restored and expen$ive, or it's a non running project, a turd, or coupe conversion. It's a running-driving vehicle you can play with and work on at the same time. I'm sorry the pictures suck, it was getting dark and a front was blowing in.
Ask questions before you bid. All questions will be answered. Sold as is with no warranty. It has a clear title. No or negative feedback bidders will be retracted. I reserve the right to end the auction early because I plan to list locally as well. Send me your number if you want to talk. Thanks. Also, I had to relist because someone hit the buy it now an hour after I listed it.

Watch how Ford torture-tested the 2015 F-150
Wed, 09 Apr 2014The Ford F-150 has been the best-selling truck in the United States for the past 37 years, and the best-selling vehicle outright for the past 32. That's quite a legacy, and thus, it's no surprise that Ford worked super-duper-extra hard on creating the all-new, aluminum-bodied 2015 F-150 that debuted at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.
During an event at the company's headquarters in Dearborn, MI this week, we were able to see all of the ways that Ford endurance tests, not just the new F-150, but all of its vehicles. From examining things like light exposure to interior materials and paint finishes, to making sure that corrosion absolutely does not happen when steel components come in contact with aluminum panels in the new truck. The goal: ensure that the new F-150 is nothing short of "Built Ford Tough."
But that's only a small part of the story. Of course, the new F-150 has to be able to withstand whatever a pickup buyer might throw at it - and truck buyers arguably demand the most from their vehicles. So in an effort to convey just what the new F-150 had to go through before being given the final go-ahead, Ford has released a series of videos, showing how its new halo truck was indeed torture tested.
2015 Ford Mustang option prices gallop onto the web
Tue, 22 Apr 2014The 2015 Ford Mustang is one of the most anticipated cars of the year, despite the fact that production hasn't yet begun. What's a pony car fan to do? It turns out that Ford already has pricing and options information about the vehicle in its dealer ordering system. A few enterprising folks have snapped some pictures from it and have posted them online. You might not be able to drive your car yet, but you can at least see what it might cost.
At the moment, Ford appears to be splitting the Mustang into five models - 3.7-liter V6, 2.3-liter EcoBoost, GT with the 5.0-liter V8, 50th Anniversary and SVT. There are 10 available paint colors, 2 of which require an extra outlay. Triple Yellow is $495, and Ruby Red Tint is $395. Regardless of model, navigation goes for $795, and reverse parking assist is $295.
For both the EcoBoost and GT, the six-speed automatic tacks an extra $1,195 to the sticker, and adaptive cruise control is the same price. The GT also has a limited-slip 3.55 rear end for $395 and a GT Performance package for $2,495. Recaro leather seats add an extra $1,595. For the EcoBoost, there's something called EcoBoost Performance package for $1,995. The system doesn't say what the packages include.
