1927 Ford Model T Phaeton, Real Henry Ford Steel Phaeton, 4 Door Convertible. This car is a great car, true old school hot rod, drive any where, and enjoy. All original no rust body painted hot rod flat black, riding on a custom store bought chassis from Arkansas , nothing someone made in their garage, no worries. The chassis is all square tube, 4 link with coil overs on the rear, drop axle on the front with leafs and knee action shocks, the front suspension also has disk brakes. The car rides on smoothie wheels with white wall tires painted red. The fronts are skin and the backs are wider to give it that more aggressive look. The motor in the car is a early flathead ford 59 A-B, topped off with a 3x2 setup, with lake pipes and turn downs right beside the cowl. The motor is only running off the center carb right, I've found that their wasn't much of a differences running all three carbs, besides the fact that I get a little bit better mileage running off one carb, no real change in horsepower. The motor is backed by a C4 automatic transmission, and finished up at the rear with a late model Chevrolet rear end. The gas tank for the car is under the cowl, and you fill the tank with the air vent on the top of the cowl. The car uses the original shifter setup to give the car that old school look on the inside with the high handle and original knob, but is set up to work with the automatic, just straight forward and backward on the handle. The car actually has a smooth ride for itself, very smooth and hits the rode great. The car has a large radiator to accommodate the later model flathead motor, as well as a electric fan that pulls air, it comes on when the car is cranked and stays on the hole time the car is running. I've never had any issues out of the car over heating. The car has headlights as well as bright lights, the switch is on the floor just to the left of the brake pedal. The car also has caddy tail lights, that includes brake lights and turn signals. The interior of the car still retains two front seats and a rear seat and is capable of hauling 4 people. The steering wheel is removable, if someone needs to assist themselves in getting in the car or wanted to just keep people from thinking about stealing the car. The car has a full set of gauges, oil, volts, temp, and speedometer, which works and shows the actually miles on the car. The car has only 2,882 miles on the entire build. Pretty much a bran new car, that has been done a couple years but only been out for shows and cruse ins. The car is dirty in the pics, never really thought about cleaning the car because its a driver, one that gets enjoyed and all. Car will clean up better, specially the motor area, if someone wanted that cleaner hot rod look for car shows and all. I always thought that the little bit of dirty look gave the car a more rustic look. Like I said the car hits the road great, no issues, no problems, and everything on the car works perfect. The car is for sale locally and is subject to be taken off If sold. The car is sold as is with no warranty. A 25% deposit is due within 3 days of the auctions end and the balance within 7 more when the car is to be picked up or arrangements are made for the car to be shipped. If you have any questions about the car please fill free to ask and I will gladly answer them to the best of my ability. Thanks and God Bless, Kody 251-454-5455

Fields 'required' to use private aircraft, could make $5.25M as Ford CEO this year
Thu, 03 Jul 2014Mark Fields' travels on the friendly skies will soon be a relatively personal affair, as the new CEO at Ford will be required to resume air travel via the company's private planes. Fields caught plenty of flak in 2007 for flying on the company's dime to visit his family in Florida. He's since flown commercial.
According to Ford spokesperson Susan Krusel, who spoke to Bloomberg, Fields (pictured above right, with Bill Ford, Jr. at center and Alan Mulally at left) will switch to private travel "for safety and to maximize his availability for company business." In addition to his new travel arrangements, the 53-year-old exec's salary and bonuses have been revealed.
Regulatory filings by Ford revealed that Fields, whose first day in the big chair was July 1, will receive a base salary this year of $1.25 million and he'll be eligible for $3.5 million in bonuses, both of which are lower than Alan Mulally's $2 million salary and $5.88 million in bonuses received last year. That's also lower than General Motors CEO Mary Barra's alleged $1.6-million salary and considerably less than Sergio Marchionne's $3.19-million fixed salary from Fiat. Despite falling short of other CEOs, Fields' new pay still represents a 33-percent increase over his pay as Chief Operating Officer.
Weekly Recap: Volvo buys Polestar, makes performance a priority
Sat, Jul 18 2015Volvo is taking its performance business in-house, and the Swedish carmaker announced Tuesday that it bought tuning company Polestar, which has long been known for producing sporty Volvos. The move allows Volvo to ramp up its performance business, and it plans to increase Polestar-branded vehicle sales to 1,000 to 1,500 annually, up from the 750 total projected for this year. The companies have been working together on motorsports projects since 1996. Financial terms of the sale were not released, and Polestar workers will move over to Volvo. Former Polestar owner Christian Dahl will keep control of the Polestar racing team and operate it under a new name. In addition to sales volume, Volvo has ambitious plans for other parts of Polestar, including its aftermarket business. Volvo also said it will use its twin-engine hybrid technology for Polestar models in the future, though specifics and timing were not revealed. Meanwhile, Volvo announced it will offer a run of 265 total Polestars in the United States for the 2016 model year, with S60 and V60s available. "Driving a Volvo Polestar is a special experience. We have decided to bring this experience to more Volvo drivers, placing the full resources of Volvo behind the development of Polestar as the model name for our high performance cars," Volvo CEO Hakan Samuelsson said in a statement. OTHER NEWS & NOTES 2016 Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra, get nose jobs Automakers tend to refer to light updates as 'facelifts,' and that's exactly what Chevy gave the 2016 Silverado and GMC Sierra. Chevy slightly changed the front end of the truck. Using the one photo released of the new Z71 model as a guide, we can see that the headlights went from a stacked vertical design to single bulbs, and they are set on top of LED running lights. The grille has more body-colored elements instead of shiny metal, and the hood has a new line running down the middle (look really closely). The design theme will be similar across the portfolio, though materials and details will vary, a spokesman said. Some models, like the High Country and LTZ will have more chrome, and the LEDs are only for the upper trims. Chevy also said it will use the eight-speed automatic transmission on more versions of the Silverado, and it updated the MyLink feature to support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Watch Tanner Foust hustle the Fiesta ST 'round the 'Ring
Mon, 15 Jul 2013The last time we saw Tanner Foust at the Nürburgring he was sloshing an SVT Raptor from kerb to kerb. Sticking with Ford but swapping keys, this time the drift champion and Top Gear USA host goes to the opposite end of the manufacturer's tuner garage and plucks a Fiesta ST for 'Ring duty.
The 179-horsepower front-wheel-driver acquits itself well by the end of the video. But be warned, Foust doesn't set a 'Ring time and it's shot like a commercial... because that's what it is. Still, you can enjoy all two minutes and 31 seconds of it below.
