1926 Ford Tudor Sedan Traditional Hot Rod. This car was finished in 2006 has seen nothing but trouble free miles since. Driven to local as well as out of town shows like Paso Robles and Billetproof in Antioch. The car has been in many, many magazines like Rolls & Pleats, Rod & Custom and Traditional Rod & Kulture. This was built right and was intended to be a permanent fixture in the owners stable but plans have changed. He has the urge to build another Hot Rod and the wife says something has to go.
Starting with a body that took very little metal work and filler to make arrow straight the car was painted with a single stage royal blue with gold inserts and red pinstriping. A stock Model A frame was lengthened to accommodate a Chevrolet Inline 6 mated to a rebuilt 700R4 transmission. The front suspension is from a '46 Ford with a suicide perch and a Chevy 10 bolt with a pair of adjustable coil over shocks out back. Front brakes are '57 Ford pickup drums which were completely rebuilt. The car sits on a set of stock style 16 inch Ford wires built by Rally America with a set of bias-ply Firestone wide white walls. The car needs door glass to be completely finished.........cheap and easy fix due to flat glass.
The car runs great and stays cool with the help of a Walker 4 core radiator even in the brutal Summer of California's Central Valley.
Here's a list of the many highlights:
Offenhauser intake with three Rochester single barrel carbs.
Split manifold with dual Smithy's glasspacks.
Modified '56 Mercury dash, with working underdash gauges.
1950 Kaiser taillights.
Lokar shifter.
Walker 4-core radiator.
Firestone bias-ply wide whites.
I have a stack of reciepts for all parts that will be included with the car.

Ford honors Chinese Year of the Horse with Vaughn Gittin Jr., Mustang video
Fri, Feb 27 2015Calendar years and fiscal years tend to be the only timetables automakers concern themselves with, but that doesn't mean there isn't recognition of other measures of time. Ford has opted to observe the Chinese zodiac, largely because the Year of the Horse ended just last week. That's fortuitous timing, considering the first Ford Mustangs were making their way towards the People's Republic as celebrations were carrying on. To recognize this fact, and the end of the Year of the Horse, Ford recruited drift king Vaughn Gittin, Jr., to take a 2015 Mustang GT to the streets of Ordos City, in north-central China. It's not as dramatic as some of Ford's recent videos, like the one starring Ken Block and the Ford Focus RS, but it's pretty cool all the same. Take a look. Ken Block shows us around his Ford F-150 RaptorTrax
Thu, Jan 22 2015From his Fiesta HFHV to his '65 Mustang Hoonicorn, the inimitable Ken Block has some awesome machinery at his disposal. But arguably the coolest of the bunch is the RaptorTrax. Based on the previous-gen Ford F-150 SVT Raptor - the one with the steel frame and V8 engine - Block's back country snowmobile on steroids packs a set of tracks at each corner, a full roll cage, equipment rack, lighting, jump seats, survival gear... everything he could need for a trip off road. The Gymkhana master showcased the beast a couple of months ago on the slopes of Baldface in Nelson, BC, but now he's followed up with a less eye-popping but more informative clip in which he shows us everything his RaptorTrax has to offer.
