For Sale is a 1926 Ford Model T Touring Edition. This car was found, owned and restored by former NHL Hockey Legend Bill Hicke. It has been stored in doors since the day it was restored and has very little rust. For a 1926 vehicle the body is in excellent shape. Upholstery was redone and is in excellent shape. Vehicle was fully operational and running up until a few years ago. Gas tank was leaking so we pulled it out. It has not run since. We have lots of extra parts and will throw them in with the purchase of the vehicle. Great winter project it would not take long to get this up and running. Vehicle is located in Regina Saskatchewan, Canada. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. However, if the buyer is in the United States, we will arrange to take it over the border and have it shipped to Plentywood Montana for buyer to pick up, or have shipped from there. Buyer assumes all responsibilities. If buyer is in Canada, pick up is in Regina, and all shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Car is being sold ASIS. Ford Transit customs ready to work for SEMA
Fri, 31 Oct 2014Ford's booth at the SEMA Show this year looks to have two, big themes. The Blue Oval is bringing over a dozen takes on the 2015 Mustang to the event, and it's now also announcing five customized versions on the 2015 Transit to join the modded pony cars. Each of the vans shows off a different use for the spacious commercial vehicle, from plush luxury to offroad ruggedness.
You probably don't think of the Transit as hitting the trails, but that's just what the take on the design from the Vegas Off-Road Experience (pictured above) is for. The company gives people the opportunity to drive a desert race truck, and this custom is meant to drive them to events. It should be able to take on the terrain a little better with off-road wheels and tires and fender flares, but inside passengers get serious luxury thanks to a 60-inch LED TV and video game systems.
Alternatively the blazing red Designed Travel Transit (right) is all about long road trips. The interior features four captain's chairs with heating, cooling and massage functions, and there's a 4K 50-inch TV to watch. For a touch of added class, the floor is made from hickory.
Are you the next Ford Edge? [UPDATE]
Wed, 13 Feb 2013What looks to be the next Ford Edge has been leaked in an apparent corporate Powerpoint presentation deck. Despite the thumbnail image's blurry and pixelated quality, it appears as if the next generation crossover will be staying close to its current aesthetic despite an all-new front clip with redesigned grille, headlamps, and lower fascia with integrated fog lights.
The upscale-minded Blue Oval CUV is due for a redesign in 2015, having just received a mid-cycle refresh for 2011. It isn't clear what changes lie beneath the new skin, either in terms of mechanicals or interior refinement, but we suspect Ford will be looking to put some distance between the next generation model and the new Escape, which is suddenly much more car-like and not that far off the more expensive Edge in terms of overall size, power or refinement.
