NO RESERVE AUCTION. you bid you buy No high unrealistic reserves.
This is a well built 1923 ford t bucket roadster. It runs and drives great. street legal and turn key. it needs nothing but a new owner and their own personal touches. I have sold a handful of cars on here and all my buyers were very pleased when their new car showed up. I make every attempt to represent the car for what it is. please ask any questions call or email thanks Norm. 503-509-1291.

The body is in good shape it is a fiberglass kit and has some minor imperfections as many fiberglass body's do have. the paint is fresh and shiny but has some small runs in it. overall it looks great, driver quality ride that has and will see the road. there is no rust at all on this vehicle. Front end is a speedway kit that is dropped and has a raised front mount for the spring. the wheels are Harley and have disks but no brake calipers. (it stops great with just the rear brakes). front brakes could easily be hooked back up if so desired. frame is  a speedway kit painted gloss black.  all gauges work but gas is not hooked up due to no sending unit in tank. 350 Chevrolet engine and trans. Motor is a not brand new but is  in great running condition. does not smoke or leak oil. It has a dual Edelbrock carb set up that has the proper linkage to run on the rear carb and then the front engages at half throttle. motor has a stock cam. This hot rod  is light and very fast. It has headlights and brake lights but no turn signals. but it is legal because this vehicle did not come with signals. transmission is a turbo 400 and shifts on a custom shifter smooth and engages fast. Ford 9 inch out back turn the meats with no problems. Rear tire and wheels are new and are a vintage retro style Cragar.  Brake master cylinder is mounted under the floor . Interior is basic but functional and clean. the steering is more like a roadster than a T bucket because it sits at an angle. not straight up and down like most. It is titled as  a1923 model T replica with a Oregon assigned vin number. Title is clean and clear.

Bottom line this is a clean driver quality ride that is reliable and gets a ton of attention. please look over all the pictures well and call me or email for the details. I will post a video of it running and driving soon on YouTube and you can hear the beast in action.  If you are close to me you can pick it up in person or inspect it. I will drive it to the shop of your choice in Salem Oregon to have it inspected if pre paid by the buyer (you). Inspections are to be done at least 2 days before the close of auction and does not guarantee that you will win.  I recommend shipping in a nascar style enclosed transporter so it doesn't get trashed  being delivered. NO RESERVE the highest bidder wins. thanks for looking and GOOD LUCK!!

Ford Australia pulls the ol' talking car prank

Mon, 07 Apr 2014

Siri from Apple has proven that being able to talk to your technology doesn't always work perfectly. But what if it could eventually go far enough to give a personality to inanimate objects like our cars? Ford took just this path to comedic effect by playing a prank on many unsuspecting Australians, in a new commercial for its EcoSport compact crossover.
The Aussies seem very nonchalant about having a random parked car talk to them, and they seem surprisingly game when it asks them to get in, call a celebrity and tell a joke. (We're guessing there are some hilarious outtakes, too.) Scroll down to watch some folks from Down Under have a conversation with Ford's CUV.

Livestream: Ricardo Innovation & Sustainability Symposium 2015

Thu, Mar 19 2015

Making decisions on how to invest billions of dollars in future technology is scary even if you're developing something as simple as a smartphone. But when you've got to invest that money in something as complex as a car – one that might drive itself, or operate just on electricity, or even possibly be crash-proof – that task becomes daunting. Today, at 9:00AM, a slate of auto industry leaders are gathering at automotive supplier Ricardo to celebrate the company's 100-year anniversary by looking toward the future. Moderated by Autoblog Editor-in-Chief Sharon Carty, the panel will talk about Ford's vision for the future, look at battery development, environmental issues, and may even debate the future of flying cars. Maybe. If you're interested in following along, take a look at the livestream. Government/Legal Green Ford Technology Emerging Technologies Videos ricardo Sakti3

Ford overlooks the Big Apple in the 2015 Mustang Convertible [w/video]

Wed, 16 Apr 2014

Ford has done it again. Like in April of 1964, there is once again an all-new Mustang Convertible sitting on the observation deck of New York City's Empire State Building. This has been in the making for a little while, with the first report that Ford would recreate the sky-high publicity stunt coming out a few weeks back.
The process of getting the Mustang up there wasn't exactly easy. A Troy, MI-based company chopped up the new droptop, a necessary evil to get the Mustang on the Empire State Building's only freight elevator that runs to the 86th floor observation deck. But it was slightly more involved than just taking the car apart. The company, DST, built a mockup of the ESB's freight elevators, and then practiced its cuts on a second pre-production Mustang Convertible (measure twice, cut once).
The result of all this work are the images you see above. Yes, sitting in the crisp, morning air of midtown Manhattan, over 1,000 feet up, is this brilliant, Triple Yellow Mustang. Take a look up top for our gallery of images from today's event. You can also scroll down for videos and images of the process leading up to the ESB debut.
