Back on Ebay after ad accidentally removed. Starting over with auction. This is a great car for Ford enthusiasts. Present owner did not restore this vehicle, bought as is for parades and shows. Replaced ignition coils, no other repairs or added parts. The vehicle has a Tennessee title plate and Tenn paperwork, no manufacturer plate from Ford. Not titled in Alabama. Don't think they put VIN plates or chassis id numbers on Fords in 1923. Soft top, one person can fold it down for topless operation. Wooden spoke wheels. Good tires. You can drive it home if you have experience with the Model T set up, runs great.

NHTSA closes Ford F-Series Super Duty steering probe without recall
Wed, 05 Feb 2014The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's investigation into 2008 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty pickups, which was originally opened last year, has now ended without a recall. NHTSA was looking into steering failures on some 336,000 trucks.
The issue rested with the steering gear - NHTSA received five complaints of failures - which was redesigned in 2005. According to the report on the matter, investigators "found evidence of broken sector shaft gear teeth and piston damage consistent with incidents of single event overload."
NHTSA investigators, however, "found no evidence of fatigue or material property defects in any of the fractures. Analysis of complaint rates by vehicle build month showed no patterns indicating potential manufacturing quality issues and no difference before and after Ford introduced design changes to the input shaft and sector shaft seals in July 2007 to address potential leak concerns," according to the report, obtained by The Detroit News.
Is this the 2017 Ford F-250 and its all-new aluminum body?
Thu, Mar 12 2015We don't have much to go on, but our friends at Jalopnik have uncovered a completely undoctored photo (used with permission) of what appears to be the 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty. There's no indication of what's under the boxy new sheetmetal – our bet, like that of Jalopnik, is that the 6.2-liter gasoline-powered V8 will join the latest torque-monster of a 6.7-liter PowerStroke V8 – but we're still left with lots of time to work out the details. For now, we see the same kind of upright and in-your-face styling that we've come to expect from the Ford Super Duty, including more chrome than a '60s Cadillac up front and huge headlight clusters that cut deeply into the side bodywork. We also note plenty of glass making up the large greenhouse, which should be a boon for visibility. Of course, the big news is the actual metal that the body is stamped from. We're expecting to see lots of aluminum, with the heavy-duty pickup following the smaller, lighter-duty F-150 into the lightweight realm for increased fuel savings and greater pulling and hauling capabilities.
