Charlton City, Massachusetts, United States
THIS IS A 1910 FORD MODEL T ROADSTER (brass) THIS T HAS BEEN SITTING IN STORAGE SINCE 1964. I BELIEVE IT IS MOSTLY ORIGINAL, BUT I HAVE FOUND 2-12-13 # ON THE MOTOR. THIS T COMES WITH 2 NOS SPLASH APRONS AND 2 NOS RUNNING BOARDS, AND ALSO AN NOS RIGHT FRONT FENDER. THERE IS ALSO A PAIR OF BRAND NEW REAR FENDERS THAT MY DAD HAD MADE BY A METAL FABRICATOR. THEY LOOK JUST LIKE THE ORIGINAL ONES. THERE ARE A BUNCH OF OTHER PARTS ALSO. THERE ARE PICTURES OF THEM, AND ALMOST 200 OTHER PICTURES OF THIS T IN THE SITE BELOW. I WILL TRY TO HAVE THE SITE UP AND READY FOR VIEWING IN THE EVENING OF 5/13. THIS CAR HAS NOT BEEN STARTED SINCE 1964 (THE MOTOR IS FREE AND EVERYTHING ELSE MOVES LIKE ITS SUPPOSED TO). THERE IS A MISSING LENS ON THE PASSENGER'S SIDE COWEL LAMP. THERE IS A PARTS LAMP THAT COMES WITH THIS CAR. THIS T NEEDS THE NOS PARTS THAT COME WITH IT. IT ALSO NEEDS A NEW TOP CANVAS AND STRAPS. THE LEATHER HIDE THAT IS ON IT IS THE ORIGINAL AND IT HAS ROTTED OVER THE LAST 104 YEARS. THE REAR WINDOW IS ALSO WITH THE PARTS THAT COME WITH THIS MODEL T. THIS MODEL T IS IN SUPER CONDITION FOR BEING 104 YEARS OLD. REMEMBER THE SITE BELOW HAS AROUND 200 PICTURES OF THIS CAR. I WILL TRY TO HAVE IT UP AND RUNNING ON THE EVENING OF 5/13. This car has been owned by my father for the last 60 years and it has always and still is, titled as a 1910. So look at the pictures real carefully and you make the decision before you bid. By no means am I trying to misrepresent this Model T. The title I have in my hand for this Model T from the Registry of Motor Vehicles states that it is a 1910 Roadster. Thanks. |

Transit Courier completes Ford's new commercial van line, will we get it?
Sat, 13 Apr 2013This week Ford rolled out the 2014 Transit Courier, the fourth addition to its Transit range. Ford says its the first time for the nameplate in the compact van segment.
"Ford has now completely transformed its commercial vehicle line-up, with four all-new, class-leading Transits for European customers," said Barb Samardzich, vice president of product development for Ford Europe. "With the all-new Transit range, we expect sales to grow to 400,000 units per year by 2016, well over 50 percent more than we sell today."
When the Courier goes on sale in the Spring of 2014, it will offer more than 1,400 pounds of payload capacity, multiple mounting points for racks or other framework and a rear cargo area that can carry items 5.3 feet-long. An optional folding passenger seat boosts the cargo length to 8.5 feet.

2015 Galpin Ford GTR1
Mon, 25 Aug 2014Last year in Monterey, we met GTR1 for the first time. Galpin Auto Sports pulled the wraps off its Ford GT-based supercar, powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.4-liter V8 good for a whopping 1,024 horsepower and 739 pound-feet of torque. The thing was totally custom-made and reportedly took some 12,000 man hours to create. And there it sat on the Pebble Beach grass, $1,000,000-plus price tag and all.
This year, the Galpin was back, albeit with one big change. That twin-turbo engine? Gone. In its place, a 5.4-liter V8 with a 4.0-liter Whipple supercharger bolted on, delivering an astonishing 1,058 hp and 992 lb-ft of torque on 110-octane fuel. 0-60? 2.9 seconds. Top speed? Somewhere above 225 miles per hour.
"Some things to keep in mind: no stability control, no traction control," were the only warnings given by Galpin's Brandon Boeckmann before taking me on a quick spin in the supercar. And after having my eyes thrown into the back of my skull a few times, laughing hysterically and trying to regain full use of my hearing after my ear drums being bombarded by the apocalyptic roar behind me, Brandon pulled over and said it was my turn, if I was ready to take the wheel.
