Custom Built in 2011 as a replica and/or tribute woodie wagon. (Titled as 2011 Homemade)
Fiberglass fenders, front grill shell, and side curtains, metal hood section. Extended cowling for more leg room. Custom built wood body with steel reinforced corners and frame. Fabric Seats, front has bucket seats and back bench. Carpet with sound barrier materiel laid down first. Clam shell rear door opening. Model A Chrome door handles. Laminated glass all the way around. Electric windows. Electric wiper. Turn signals, dimmer switch for the head lights Polish steering column. Grant steering wheel. Dolphin Gauges with digital odometer. Heat and Defrost, NO A/C CD Player. 1995 Toyota Truck Chassis was used as a donor frame, motor and tranny. Motor is a 22R. The 2-valve SOHC 2.4 L (2,366 cc) 22R was produced from 1981 through 1997. Motor and tranny is stock, except for the Holly Carb. Manual Choke. Torch-en bar front end, new shocks. Steel wheels new tires. Use as your daily driver or a cruiser. 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid recalled over lack of roof padding
Mon, 29 Jul 2013Ford is recalling 33,021 units of its 2013 C-Max Hybrid not equipped with optional panoramic roof panels. During testing, the model in question returned testing results for occupant head injuries that fell outside of criteria laid out in the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard. The issue puts occupants at greater risk of injury in the event of a crash if they are in an affected car.
The recall will begin August 19, at which time C-Max Hybrid owners can take their cars to dealers to have energy-absorbent material installed between the headliner and roof. The bulletin below from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has more information.
