1930 Model A Ford coupe. A very solid original car with rumble seat and rear mount spare. No body patches or rust out, fenders are very nice and solid as is the entire car. I will

list what has been done so far,

Rebuilt engine by Antique Engine Rebuilding, cyclinders bored, new pistons, rings ect, new valves and springs, crank turned, cam reground/replaced, new timing gears,

oil pump, flywheel faced with new clutch and pressure plate, new throw-out bearing, and pilot bearing every thing has been completely rebuilt or replaced. This engine is new with

less than five miles since installed back into the car. It also has a new Weber carb and intake on it, along with a new set of Reds headers. The starter was rebuilt with-in the last year

and the generator last two. Engine is mounted with a Float-A-Motor front and rear. tranny was rebuilt about three years ago. It has a new set of gauges (oil and temp) mounted in a

new bracket. New style dist. cap and rotor along with new style points and new wires and ends. Has a new water pump with a stainless shaft, also the engine has the 6:1 Snyders high

compression head. The rebuild also includes new SS valves, new guides, new adjustable lifters, inserts on the main and rod bearings and resurfaced block.

After I had the engine back in the car and running ( and Wow does it run nice!) I took it for a short drive, kind of fun to start out in low and just get the car rolling good and then shift into

high, no power problems here. Other things I have done were to replace the junction box on the engine side of the firewall, replace some wiring, replace the gas gauge and float, ect.

The car will need some brake work, the brakes stop the car like a Model A but could be better, I was considering  juice brakes, but the original Model A brakes when up to snuff work just fine.

The battery box and cables have been replaced also. If there are more question call 605-791-one four nine seven, evenings are best. The hood, front bumpers, headlights and horn are not on

the car at this time, but I can reinstall before shipping/delivery. Depending on how one would like to finish the car up consider the work that has been done thus far, you could go old school

hot-rod or very well hidden souped up original.  (The V-8 wheels are available separate of the car because I thought some may not want them.)

I will expect $500.00 down through pay-pal with-in 48 hrs of sale and the balance wire to wire bank transfer. I will help with loading ect. if you need the car shipped to you. To be sold

with-in the 48 States Only!  thanks for looking!

2015 Ford Mustang potentially 'leaked' by Car and Driver

Mon, 28 Oct 2013

Few upcoming debuts have been as eagerly anticipated as the all-new Ford Mustang that's expected to debut shortly as the Mustang's 50th anniversary year approaches. Well, Car and Driver magazine would have us wait no longer as it claims to be leaking Ford's new global pony car early.
Of course what you're looking at is just as likely to be a composite rendering based on what C/D projects the new Mustang to look like, but to our eyes it looks spot on. Combining design traits from the Evos Concept with classic Mustang signatures and Ford's Aston-inspired grille treatment, C/D's images - including a complete 360-degree digital navigator - show a Mustang not only for the modern era, but also for global distribution, taking a quintessentially American car to markets its predecessors were never designed for.
Those global considerations are expected to spell the demise of the outgoing Mustang's holdout live rear axle in favor of an independent suspension, and a slight constricting of the exterior dimensions. And thanks to a separate leak, coming from a digital survey, we have apparent confirmation of what will power the new pony car. While the existing 3.7-liter V6 and 5.0-liter V8 engines will apparently carry over with only slight adjustments in output, the survey confirms a new 2.4-liter turbo four will be positioned in between them, offering slightly more power than the V6 but markedly improved fuel economy for a manageable $560 premium over base.

2016 Ford Taurus to ride atop reworked Fusion platform

Wed, 19 Mar 2014

Generally, cars get bigger and heavier as they get older. That's why it looks so ridiculous when you park a classic Mini next to a modern version. The same can be said of the Corvette, the BMW 3 Series, Porsche 911 and, of course, the Ford Taurus. In the Taurus' case, though, that size has become a liability, particularly because the big brute isn't nearly as sizable on the inside as it is on the out.
For 2016, Ford is aiming to rectify that. According to Edmunds, the 2016 Taurus will ride on a stretched and widened Ford Fusion platform. Ford is expecting this move to go a long way in trimming the Taurus' ample body fat.
"The problem with today's Taurus is that it is overweight and even the high performance SHO is not really competitive," said a source that spoke to Edmunds on condition of anonymity. The 365-horsepower SHO variant, "actually weighs about as much as the stretched Audi A8 L. Of course, Audi uses an extensive amount of aluminum, but it is a much bigger car."

Ford tells Congress it collects and protects some driver data

Fri, 14 Feb 2014

Last month Ford's Jim Farley made waves at the CES when it was reported he told show attendees, "We have GPS in your car, so we know what you're doing. By the way, we don't supply that data to anyone." Farley and Ford later partially retracted and clarified that statement.
Spurred by a desire for further transparency on data collection policies, Ford representatives answered questions from Congress, specifically Senator Al Franken (D-Minn.), about driver privacy.
The Detroit News reports that Ford told Congress it does collect some vehicle location data in an effort to "troubleshoot and improve our products" on behalf of the driver. Ford went on to say that it only collects limited data after receiving permission from owners.
