1931 Model A Pickup Truck Late 31 Steel Roof 32 Style Bed Project Barn Find on 2040-cars
Mayfield, Kentucky, United States
Late1931 Model A truck. Truck needs restoration. I do have the original hood not shown in the pictures. I also have new running boards and the apron in front between the fenders. The drivers side behind the door has been poorly repaired with bondo. I bought this many years ago. It came from a barn and had last been licensed in 1957. I had the truck running and pulled the head to change the cam gear. The head is still off. I have the new gear, but the motor should be rebuilt upon further inspection. Please ask questions I will answer as soon as I can. Have all four wheels in Red with white walls.
I will provide a bill of sale to the buyer. Depending on the requirements in your state I can provide a title but will have to send it to you roughly 2 weeks later. Some states do not use titles on cars this old. I had no plans to sell so I have not applied for and recieved my title yet. I do have all necessary paperwork to do so. I am only selling trying to raise funds for a real estate auction on the 27th. Item must be paid in full by that date, or I reserve the right not to sell. Again the only reason I am selling is to raise the down payment I need for a land auction. $250 deposit via paypal within 24 hours of auction end. |

Watch how a Ford Raptor rolls down the assembly line in Dearborn
Sun, 30 Mar 2014Bloomberg TV reporter Matt Miller is the proud new owner of a pretty killer truck. How do we know? The reporter headed to Dearborn, MI to Ford's assembly plant, with a film crew in tow, to see exactly how his new F-150 SVT Raptor and its mother-loving 6.2-liter V8 engine, was screwed together.
The resulting video does an excellent job of summing up how an assemblage of parts and pieces is turned into a triple-black Raptor, thanks to the work of some 1,000 employees and about 20 hours of real time. Click through below to see how the truck is born, with a surprise cameo playing the part of delivery driver at the end.
eBay Find of the Day: 1987 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe is showroom fresh
Tue, 27 Aug 2013There's an ultra-rare Ford Thunderbird for sale on eBay, although it's not quite the T-Bird you're probably thinking. This is a 1987 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe, complete with a five-speed manual transmission and just a shade over 13,000 miles on the clock. The condition is said to be mint, and judging by the interior and exterior pictures, we're inclined to believe the seller. The paint is glossy and the interior looks showroom new, while the underbody is stunningly clean for a 36-year-old car.
Underhood sits a 2.3-liter, intercooled and turbocharged four-cylinder (also found in the Mustang SVO) that was producing 190 horsepower when it left the factory. Inside, the five-speed manual transmission adds to the car's rarity. The vehicle's sole owner has been as immaculate with the paperwork as he has with the rest of the car - it's all there, including brochures and other product material.
The eBay auction ends tomorrow at midnight (9:00 PM if you're on America's west coast). Bidding has reached $10,200, and there's still plenty of time to get in on this future classic. The vehicle is located in Millstone Township, NJ.
