Please do not bid on this auction if you have less than 25 feedback.

If you are serious and want to bid, please contact us by phone at the listed number so we can discuss your intentions. Sorry to be this way but lately there has been a rash low feedback bidders bidding, winning the auction and then not following through with the sale. We take our auctions seriously and just want you to do the same.

This auction  is for a 1930 Ford Model A Coupe. All Henry Ford steel. This car had the same owner for the past 48 years. We are proud to offer this wonderful piece of history. The car started life in the state of Wyoming. It was then sold to another gentleman in Wyoming who then sold to the prior owner here in Maine who has owned it up until last week. He had the car painted at that time , installed 1936 wire wheels and tires and has been like this since then. He put the car up in 2010 .Oil was full and antifreeze was still nice and green.  A new battery was installed , fresh fuel and it fired right up. Motor runs whisper quiet. Transmission shifts great. Drove it up the road and back and it actually drives quite nice for an 84 year old car. No pulling ,  chattering  or wobbeling. Steering is nice and tight . The body is in amazeing condition. Absolutely rust free and without repairs. The sills are like brand new. The trunk, pans, and wheel tubs are beautiful. Doors open and close perfect and fit like a glove.Windows roll up and down fine. Windshield cranks out.  All the fenders are in great shape. I see on the drivers front fender a tiny crack on the bead. The hood does have a few waves on the drivers side section . All the lights  and electricals work . Interior is in good usable shape. Headliner is all intact. Paint has dulled down over the years but I think the car looks amazeing just the way it is. You will notice in the pics the horn is missing. It had a Chevrolet horn on it and it was taken off.I will include it . Also had a radio installed but was removed and will be included. I have all 5 original 19 inch wheels that will be included also. There are all kinds of directions you can go with this car .Personally I would leave it the way it is drive and enjoy it. Of course that is up to the new owner. We will  have a Maine registration and proper dealer transfer forms for a smooth transaction.  We require a $500 non refundable deposit within 24 hours after the sale. Preferable by Pay Pal. Balance due 3 days there after. If you need time to transport we will work with you on storing the car. If you need more info or pics please feel free to email or call us at 1-207-324-5568 Days or 1-207-432-2862 Eves and Sundays. Please check out our other auctions for a nice 1967 Camaro Convertible and a survivor 1961 Olds 88 Sedan.

Facelifted Ford Focus caught testing in the cold

Wed, 18 Dec 2013

It's that time in the life of the Ford Focus to get a little work done - a nip-tuck here, some Botox there. Yes, Ford is testing a facelifted version of its global C-segment entry, which first hit markets in Europe and North America in May 2011.
Like the touchup on the Fiesta, expect Ford's gaping grille to make its first appearance on the Focus. Our spy photographers point out that this is likely to be a more comprehensive makeover than previous spy shots suggested, based on the additional camouflage seen here on the front and rear ends of this five-door model. New head and taillights are also likely in order, as are changes to the front and rear fascia.
The interior was also snapped and features a cleaner design with a larger central display. Other than that, it looks like some buttons have been changed, making us think most of the Focus' updates are limited to the exterior.

2015 Ford Mustang fuel economy ratings leaked

Thu, 21 Aug 2014

Thinking about buying a new Mustang, but want to know what kind of fuel economy it'll get? Well we have our first indication as the pony-car enthusiasts over at Mustang6G.com have gotten a hold of the Monroney window stickers for a few of the new 2015 Mustang models.
Although the V8 model is not among them, we can now see how the EPA has rated those models with a half dozen pistons or less. The Mustang EcoBoost with the turbo four and a manual transmission has been rated at 22 miles per gallon in the city and 31 on the highway. The V6 manual gets 17 city and 28 highway, while the V6 automatic squeezes out a bit more in the city at 19 mpg but carries the same 28 highway rating.
By way of comparison, the latest Chevy Camaro with the V6 and a stick shift gets the same 17/28 EPA rating as a similarly equipped new 'Stang, and the V6 automatic Camaro gets 18/27 (slightly behind the Ford, but if you opt for the Camaro 2LS with its V6, automatic and 2.92 rear axle ratio, you'll be looking at 19 and 30).

USPS releases hot rod stamps to speed up your delivery

Sun, 08 Jun 2014

After one of the worst winters in recent memory for much of the country, summer is finally here. It's time to drop the top, open the sunroof or at least put down the windows and take a long drive. The United States Postal Service is celebrating the season's sun in automotive style with two new hot rod Forever stamps.
Both stamps depict classic '32 Ford hot rods. One shows the car from the front at a low angle in red (pictured above), while the other depicts the car from the back in black with flames running down the side.
To introduce the new stamps on their first day of availability, the USPS went straight to the source at the National Street Rod Association Street Rod Nationals in York, PA. They were unveiled by Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe, Car Crazy host Barry Meguiar and NSRA Special Events Director Jerry Kennedy.
