1930 Ford Model A Coupe 3659 Miles! Same Family Owned Last 40 Yrs! on 2040-cars
Spencer, Massachusetts, United States
This is a 1930 model a coupe that has been in the same family for the past 40 years. Its had a complete restoration in the mid 70's by my father which took several years, and has since been driven only 3659 miles. It was restored to original condition with no upgrades and the body is all steel. It has spent much more time in storage than on the road. It starts right up, runs and drives ok, but Im sure it could use a complete tune up. Its only been used for parades and short trips around town. It has a rumble seat that kids love to ride in. Again this is a 40 year old restoration! the paint is blistering in some spots, you have to get up close to see, I took pics of the worse spots, but overall for a restoration that old, it looks really nice! Its never seen rain! I hate to let it go but I dont use it, and cant continue to keep storing it. It is for sale locally also, so the auction will end early if it sells, thanks for looking. call 508-885-4582

Mustang pinball game will feature art by Ford GT designer
Fri, 13 Dec 2013To celebrate 50 years of Mustang, Ford and Stern Pinball are collaborating on a new pinball machine that will feature the muscle car in all its glory, Polygon reports. Even better, Camilo Pardo, the guy who designed the Ford GT, will provide art for the table; Tanner Foust, Top Gear USA host and professional driver, will handle narrating duties; and a Sony Music soundtrack spanning five decades will provide the tunes.
"The Mustang is one of the most iconic, American cars ever made... What better way to celebrate 50 years of Mustang than with the launch of the Ford Mustang pinball game?" says Stern Pinball CEO Gary Stern.
Watch the promotional trailer for the upcoming Mustang pinball machine below, which will have to hold you over until pricing and availability are announced in early 2014.
2015 Ford Mustang GT Line-Lock Burnout
Mon, 03 Nov 2014In this brief Short Cut, Autoblog's Steven Ewing demonstrates Line-Lock on the 2015 Ford Mustang GT. Accessed through an on-screen performance menu, the feature temporarily locks the front brakes to help you heat up the rear tires for better traction, as you would for drag racing. The result? A 15-second smokescreen.
How the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor became a reality
Wed, 01 May 2013The camouflaged Ford F-150 SVT Raptor prototype captured above blazing its way across the desert during a test run left company engineers giggling in amazement, reveals Jamal Hameedi in a new Autoweek video. Ford's global performance vehicle chief engineer, accompanied by senior exterior designer Bruce Williams, sat down with the publication to discuss the concept and development of the automaker's super off-road F-150.
Designing a high-performance pickup in 2008, right when the cost of gasoline was going through the roof, seemed insane at the time, but the team pushed forward with the innovative vehicle regardless. The interview includes plenty of Ford B-roll footage as visual candy, and the conversations include discussions about exterior design, ride comfort, anti-lock brake tuning, suspension engineering, weight reduction and why it was necessary to make the Raptor visually different than Ford's standard F-150. The model's origin story is very interesting, and you can learn more about it by watching the video below.
