1929 Model A ford hot rod.350 Chevy turbo 350 automatic column shift. Ford 9" rear, ratio unknown, Original metal body coupe customized to convertible/removable top. Older restoration/project, guessing !990's. I purchased it as is approximately 10 years ago for a restoration project, but is nice as is. Runs strong, quick car. Needs front brake assemblies. Only backing plates now. Lines etc. are in place. Rear brakes seem fine. Would be a complete driver with brakes done. Rear battery, gas tank in trunk behind seats. Billet aluminum steering wheel (Ultra) and dash inlay. Digital gauge panel. Tilt wheel. Windshield is cracked. Door glass and window mechanisms eliminated. Basically a topless car but has a removable vinyl top on a metal frame. (Pictured). Tires are good but are at least 10 years old. The only work I have done to the car is new steering column linkage/knuckles. Steers smoothly .Removable steel hood, Original style model A radiator with billet overflow, runs cool. Electric fan. Rear coil over shocks. 1960s mustang bucket seats. 295 50r/15 rear tires on 8" Ultra aluminum rims. 195 60R/15 front tires on 6" ultra wheels. Paint and body are not perfect but no rust at all. Car came from Oklahoma. Fun easy restoration or use as is with minor work, mainly front brakes.Real head turner with speed. Great driver but only rear brakes are not going to cut it. Must be trailered or towed to new home.

Ford Mustang GT500 successor spied near SVT
Tue, 17 Sep 2013Details about the next-gen Ford Mustang are scarce, and there's even less information out there about the upcoming replacement for the Shelby GT500. Previously rumored to drop the Shelby name and wear the GT350 moniker, the highest-performance Mustang has just been spotted testing near Ford's SVT operations.
Despite being cloaked in heavy camouflage, we can instantly tell this prototype is different from other Mustang spy shots we've seen in the past. Aside from the Shelby-spec wheels, quad exhaust outlets (previous spy shots show only two) and beefier brakes, this car also has air intakes on the hood and front fenders. These elements help to neither prove nor dismiss rumors that the next SVT Mustang will be naturally aspirated. It also looks like Ford is may be planning some changes to this car's rear suspension, as there is some extra camouflage added beneath the rear end of this prototype.
As a bonus, these spy shots also give us our first look inside the new Mustang, revealing a new steering wheel (with more buttons) and a glimpse of the dual-pod instrument gauges. Check out past spy shots of the 2015 Mustang showing off its new face and driving around town.
Ford set to target pre-school market with next F-150 variant
Tue, Jun 17 2014How do you build a strong group of loyalists from the next generation of American drivers? You start em' young. Ford has taken that lesson to heart, as we can see in the first batch of images of the company's new entry to the pre-school market, the Power Wheels F-150. This particular example was caught returning from testing around Ford's base of operations in Dearborn, MI – covered in tiny little bits of camouflage, too. Now, this could very well end up being a collaboration between Power Wheels and Ford. Then again, it could just be some bored engineers that decided to troll the local congregation of spy photographers, who earlier today captured images of the next Focus RS and SVT Mustang. Whatever it is, it's pretty darn cool. Take a look up top for images of the new Power Wheels F-150.
Ford confirms Everest SUV production for China
Sat, 19 Apr 2014According to Ford, the Chinese SUV segment grew by 49 percent in 2013, and the Blue Oval held a 4.5 percent market share. At the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, Ford is showing the Everest SUV that, while just a concept for now, will go into production in the near future.
The Everest is a big, brawny seven-seat SUV that mixes solid, chiseled styling and contemporary Ford design cues. Up front there is an angular version of the trapezoidal grille and sharp, wraparound headlights. The beltline rises in the rear to make the back appear higher than the front. The rear seems just as chiseled, with the taillights resting in jagged scallops. There is no doubt that this concept means to look rugged, and ready for rough roads - the whole thing looks pretty great.
The truck was penned by Ford's Asia Pacific design and engineering team in Australia, and it was first shown in Sydney last year. Ford's JMC joint venture will build the truck for the Chinese market, and it will be sold at Ford dealers there. The Blue Oval isn't hinting at what powers the production version yet, but it reportedly shares some components with the foreign-market Ranger.
