The Body is a steel 1929 Ford Model A coupe. I chopped it 4.5" and I channeled the body 2.75". I also put a metal roof on it!

The steering is a new reverse corvair steering box with traditional steering. quick release steering wheel for ease of getting in and out of the vehicle.

The dash is out of a 1951 Oldsmobile. I cut approximately 13" out of this dash to make it fit. The Gauge cluster is just cosmetic. I have a gps mounted in the car for speedometer and odometer. the gps was reset when I finished the car. every mile driven is recorded!

It has a 4r70w automatic transmission with overdrive. it is shifted by a B&M shifter. A manual Valve body was installed to eliminate the computer.

The 4.6 SOHC engine runs great and smooth! The short block is a NPI out of a Lincoln. The PI heads are off of a 2000 mustang gt. This combination bumps up the compression ratio. I just put $800.00 into putting trick flow cams, new upgraded valve springs and timing chains in it. It has a carbureted Edelbrock intake with a 600 edelbrock carb. It also has 8 cop`s for ignition. The ignition system is controlled by MSD MOD 6. Very easy system to work with and tune the car! The tuning parameters are endless for this setup! Very expensive setup. starts and runs great everytime!

The rear end is out of a 1979 Lincoln. It is a disk brake 9". It has a 2.70 gear ratio. Cruises 65 mph at 1050 rpm! I built this car to be very reliable and to get good gas mileage. I average close to 40 MPG with it!

The STOP light in the back has been upgraded with a 6" led light inside of it for maximum visibility and safety. When the brakes are pressed all the brake lights come on. NO TURNSIGNALS! stick your arm out! The Trunk lid is held down by custom leather belt straps made by my wife! She antiqued them and they work and look great! Lots of comments about them everywhere we go!! I made a custom license plate bracket that will stay on the car.

the front end is a 6" drop tube axle with disk brakes. It has a pan hard, shocks, spring behind and steering stabilizer! Handles GREAT!

It has 15" steel wheels with NOS wide whitewalls in perfect condition! 1300 miles on them and you cant even tell it! they are bias ply polyester tires. 50`s era hubcaps!

It has a Griffin race radiator fitted for a FORD Model A grill shell! I have a electric fan with thermostat on it. The fan works great! tested it once but the car never gets hot enough for it to even come on!

I made all the coolant lines out of copper and it works and looks cool!

I built a custom set of headers for it that will come with the car. I just wanted the exhaust system all the way out the back! Personally the headers I built look better on the car! I put 4" motorcycle baffles in each primary tube to quiet it down. I also header wrapped them!

I built the frame in a jig. It is a 2x3 3/16"  rectangular steel frame. 4" kick up in the front. 16" kickup in the back! 2" drop Model a front crossmember. very strong frame! all joints were welded and on top of that gusseted!

If the Buyer wishes then I can sand off my door art, repaint the door and have it ready for you to put your own door art on it!

For the seats?? well its a rat rod! I have bottom cushions made for it and you rest your back on the rear interior panel! its actually comfortable! im 6` tall and 230 lbs and I fit perfect! I built it for bigger people. If you`re shorter then you could put a seat in it putting you closer to the pedals and steering wheel.

I have one marine 6" speaker in it hooked to a amplifier. I hooked a ipod hook up to the amplifier also. It is plenty loud! very clean set up.

I am using the original gas tank in the car! it holds 10 gallons of gas. I have a carter electric fuel pump on it to transfer fuel to the carb. at close to 40 mpg you can travel pretty far!

Be ready though, I cant drive this car anywhere and expect to leave soon! I get stopped by people all the time to look at it! I have got more thumbs up since I finished this car than I ever have seen!!!

I recently put a new interior in the car. my wife and I made all the panels and sewed them ourselves!

Please don't hesitate to ask any questions! This is a great car and it wont be for sale for long!

Ford GT to be revived, Le Mans battle upcoming

Sun, 05 Oct 2014

Ford dominated the 24 Hours of Le Mans from 1966 to 1969, scoring four consecutive wins. Wouldn't it be great if the Blue Oval could go back to France for the 50th anniversary of that performance and show it can still compete in international endurance racing? Actually, the latest rumors indicate that could be exactly the case, and the car taking that checkered flag could be another revival of the Ford GT.
As the rumblings go, Ford wants to use a new supercar to take another crack at Le Mans, after considering some other possible alternatives. Substantiating these musings are reports that a Blue Oval rep was reportedly on hand for a recent meeting about 2016 GTE-Class rules, according to Road and Track. That would put the new GT in the same racing class as the Corvette, Ferrari 458 Italia, Porsche 911 and others.
It's not all about racing, though. If you win on Sunday, you want something to be able to sell on Monday. The revived GT is reportedly still a mid-engine supercar, but the exact engine is unclear. It's possible that it could even be shown or announced at the Detroit auto show in January, according to Motor Trend.

Next Ford Raptor spotted wearing aluminum skin

Wed, 07 May 2014

Well, look at what we have here. Judging from these spy shots, Ford is indeed working on the next generation of its off-road-ready F-150 Raptor pickup truck. We've made no attempt to hide our appreciation for the Baja-style truck, which combines most of the usability of a fullsize truck with heavy-duty suspension components to make a kind of performance vehicle that is unique in the market.
What we haven't known, until now, is whether Ford would push forward with its Raptor program now that it has a completely new F-150 to serve as its base. And that's especially true since Ford made the bold move of switching the bodywork of its best-seller from tried-and-true steel to aluminum. As you can see above, the front and rear of this silver truck are clad in current-gen Raptor bodywork, while the center section that houses the occupants appears to come from the upcoming 2015 F-150.
Dissecting the views above, we note a few interesting tidbits. First, there looks to be a bulge in the truck's hood. Second, we see a new grille between the current Raptor's headlights, sporting a mesh finish and two horizontal bars. Lastly, our eyes can't help but lock in on those burly A-arm suspension pieces down below, not to mention all that ground clearance the specialty suspenders bring to the table.

Next-gen Ford Taurus spotted in China

Fri, Jan 2 2015

We're getting our first look at the next-generation Ford Taurus thanks to some spy shooters in China. While the camouflage and angle of the photo keep changes to the body a secret, there's no hiding the massive hexagonal, chrome grille up front. It lends a look very similar to the Fusion. Beyond the eye-grabbing grille, the headlights are reshaped, but are still quite squinty. There's also a new lower air dam that runs the width of the front with LEDs at the top corners. The hexagonal grille fits the design of the Fusion well, but this single image makes it look a little too big and disproportionate for the fullsize Ford sedan. Maybe the integration works better from a different angle, though. The next-gen Taurus is rumored debut for the 2016 model year and reportedly rides on a stretched and widened version of the Fusion's platform. Ford's big goal for the new model is allegedly to shed as many pounds from the scales as possible. The sedan also may get a nine-speed automatic to boost fuel economy. The engine range is still a mystery, but EcoBoost options are practically a sure thing, possibly even making up the whole model lineup.
