Up for auction is a 1928 Ford Model A Roadster Pickup Hotrod Original Henry Ford steel truck with glass fenders. Original convertible roof bows, not chopped. Very nice running and driving truck. Has small block Chevy with mild cam with a 4 barrel intake and carb. Turbo 350 automatic transmission, column shift Full exhaust out the back with flow masters, sounds very nice Paint is pearl white Wheels are new American Torque Thrusts with new tires This is a turn key truck that has been in storage a few years, has been in Florida most of its life and is now in NY, don't use much up here anymore, time to sell Would make a great everyday driver or take to shows or go shopping or antiquing Truck is extremely driver friendly!!! Ford Mustang 50th anniversary edition brings in $170k
Tue, 30 Sep 2014Just the other day, we reported on the first Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat selling for a whopping $825,000 at auction. But impressive as that sum was, the Challenger wasn't the only sought-after modern muscle car to cross the Barrett-Jackson auction block in Las Vegas this past weekend. So did this rare Ford Mustang.
The last of 1,964 special-edition 50 Years Limited Edition pony cars sold for a princely $170,000, with proceeds benefiting the Edith and Benson Ford Heart & Vascular Institute, a branch of the Henry Ford Health System.
The pony car in question is based on the 2015 Ford Mustang GT and upgrades with a performance package and nearly every option on the book, along with a unique appearance package to set it apart in celebration of the Mustang's 50th anniversary. It's available in two exclusive shades - Wimbledon white or Kona blue - with either a manual or automatic transmission. Only 1,964 highly symbolic examples were to be built, and this was the last of them.

If you drive a recent Ford SUV or crossover, you may want to keep a watchful eye out for thieves - especially if you live in the New York metro area or in Detroit. A new study from the National Insurance Crime Bureau has named three Ford models as the most likely vehicles in their genre to be stolen, with CUVs in general being especially attractive to bandits.
