1928 Ford Model A Phaeton. This is a older amateur restoration. Vehicle is in good running condition. Brakes are new and have been converted to hydraulics. Tires are new and have no wear. Convertible top is also brand new with no tears or marks, just had new wood bows built. Interior is still in good shape with a couple of scuffs but still has quite a bit of life left. This is a great driver for someone who wants a great old car to just get in and drive. Car is all metal, no fiberglass. Car runs and drives! Truly a rare beauty from a gone era. Car is located in Utah, you can arrange your own shipping or we can assist in finding shipping or even bring it to purchaser for a fair price. We have the clean title. Leno recalls '90s showdown with Tim Allen and his mullet
Wed, Oct 7 2015Not many of us have buddies with garages full of classic cars, but that isn't the case for Jay Leno and Tim Allen. Of course, one of the advantages for two guys with such vast collections is occasionally getting to pit their cars against each other. The two comedians did just that in the mid-'90s with a burnout battle on The Tonight Show between Allen in a race-prepped Mustang and Leno in a drag racer. After some time away from regular television, Leno is returning to the airwaves with a Jay Leno's Garage series premiering on Oct. 7 (tonight) at 10:00 p.m. ET on CNBC. Let this clip serve as another taste of what to expect for the new TV show's mix of comedy and cars. After reminiscing about the old days in a gorgeous garage, the comedians get into two modern machines to reprise the classic challenge – after a little trash talk anyway. Don't worry because the YouTube series isn't going anywhere, though.
Petersen Museum celebrates 50 years of Ford Mustang with special exhibit
Mon, May 5 2014If you're a pony-car enthusiast, this is your year. Not only has Ford introduced an all-new Mustang, but it's also the 50th anniversary of the original. Celebrations and commemorations have been scheduled throughout the year, and not the least of them is the latest exhibit at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. Called "Mustangs Forever: 50 Years of a Legend", the exhibit includes Mustangs from every generation of the iconic pony car, including the 1965 convertible Ronald Reagan drove during his California gubernatorial campaign, a 1971 Mach 1 Cobra Jet, a 1974 Mustang II, 1993 SVT Cobra, 2000 Cobra R and a 2006 Shelby GT-H. Special sections focus on motorsports, aftermarket modifiers and limited-edition models. The display opened on Sunday with the Mustang Madness spectacular and will run for the next six months, but if you're not heading to Southern California within the coming half-year then you can scope out all the action in our live gallery of photos above.
