I am selling my very nice 1929 Deluxe Sport Coupe, fresh off a ground up restore approximately 2 years ago.
Car is in perfect condition and an all steel car, no fiberglass. This great car comes with brand new Lebaron Bonney top
and Lebaron Bonney Mohair interior including a new rumble seat.
Car interior and rumble seat area are finished off complete, including the back of the seat, sides and the floor.
Car has a beautiful shine and finished with 1929 Ford colors including:
Upper and lower body in ROSE BEIGE, Belt Moldings are in SEAL BROWN and the pin striping & wheels in matching
1929 Ford ORANGE.
Car has all correct parts, motor, transmission, rear end, exhaust - etc.
Car also comes with very rare Vintage Marble Agate Orange and white shift knob.
Tires are in Like-New shape and car also has dual tire side mounts.
Car also comes with very nice leather trunk mounted on the back of the car.
Top also opens and hooks up inside on interior of the top to have access to rumble seat as it should.
Car also has a manifold heater that can be adjusted all the way on to closed if not needed.
Also when motor was rebuilt the 2 piece crank pulley was used so if needed to be replaced one does not have to
lift the motor in the front to remove it.
Also installed on motor are new Float-A-Motor engine mounts to reduce vibration of the car.
The Float-A-Motor engine mounts also make it much easier to remove the motor if ever needed and do other types of maintenance.
Anyone wanting to come look at this wonderful car is very welcome to come, just send an email to set up a time.
You will not be disappointed.
Henry Ford himself would be proud of this gem and you could take this to any car show
and be very proud of it without having people picking it apart.
Car is also for sale locally and I may consider offers.
I hold a clear Wisconsin Title.
I have been selling on Ebay for almost 20 years and with going on 1 million successful
internet transactions,  trust you will receive the exact item shown. :)
I have a friend in the car hauling business & If needed, I will also help with arrangements for enclosed shipping of this car at a great rate.

Questions, please email via ebay please,

thanks

Scott

2013 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Supercrew

Fri, 15 Mar 2013

I'm not normally a pickup kind of guy, but the 2013 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor won me over nearly instantly. The street-legal trophy truck - there is really no other way to accurately describe it - is big, brawny and incredibly capable. Let's just say it's every bit the monster it visually portrays. I spent a week pretending I was one of Ford's Baja 1000 drivers, but lacking desert sand, I headed into the local mountains where a mild winter storm had dropped a couple inches of fresh snow on my favorite off-road park. The Ford was, for the most part, practically unstoppable.
Ford offers its SVT Raptor package on Supercab and Supercrew platforms with the five-foot, five-inch bed. The Supercrew I tested rides on a 144-inch wheelbase (about a foot longer than the Supercab). In addition to its cosmetic differences when compared to the standard F-150 - there isn't a young boy on the planet who doesn't think the matte black Ford grille is cool - the Raptor has a 73.6-inch track - nearly seven inches wider than the track on the standard F-150.
After upgrading the F-150 SVT Raptor significantly for the 2012 model year, there are only a few changes for 2013. The list includes standard high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps, Hill Descent Control, forged beadlock-capable wheels, and the new matte Terrain color (aka "Desert Storm") option seen on my test model.

US Air Force Thunderbirds Mustang fetches $400K at auction

Wed, 07 Aug 2013

For the last six years, Ford has created a special version of the Mustang with a military aviation theme, and then donated the car to the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) to be auctioned off at the annual AirVenture event, also known as The World's Greatest Aviation Celebration. The money raised goes to the EAA Young Eagles program to inspire the "aviation pioneers of tomorrow," and this year's 2014 Ford Mustang GT US Air Force Thunderbirds Edition was won with a final bid of $398,000.
Celebrating 60 years of the USAF's Thunderbirds, this Mustang GT is the only one of its kind with a paint job matching the Thunderbirds' F-16 Falcon jets and some Ford Racing performance added on for good measure. Including this car, Ford has helped raise around $2.3 million for the charity with the biggest auction price coming from the first year of the program, the F-22 Raptor-inspired Mustang AV8R from 2008, which sold for $500,000.

These horribly misguided front-drive design studies nearly became the Mustang

Fri, 08 Nov 2013

As we eagerly await the unveiling of the all-new sixth-generation Mustang, Ford has been giving us some great information over the past few months showing what has gone into shaping its venerable pony car. As many changes as the Mustang has gone through in its 50 years, though, it appears the fourth-gen model played a decisive and pivotal role in the car's future.
As is part of Mustang lore, the front-wheel drive Ford Probe was originally developed as a next-generation Mustang in the Eighties before cooler heads prevailed. The Blue Oval has just released a handful of images showing how bad things could have been - including a full-scale clay model of a front-wheel-drive Mustang (shown above). Fortunately, the FWD Mustang plan was scrapped and Ford went to work designing a rear-wheel-drive replacement for the Fox Body Mustang, with three design studies making it far enough to become full-scale models. These include the soft "Bruce Jenner" Mustang, the over-the-top "Rambo" Mustang and the middle-ground "Arnold Schwarzenegger" Mustang, which finally became the basis for the 1994 'Stang.
By early 1991, the design language of the fourth-generation Mustang had been worked out, and the rest, they say, is history. Scroll down for the fascinating press release telling the story of the fourth-gen Mustang, and be sure to check out the gallery of horribly misguided sketches and various design studies that were all on the table in the late 1980s.
