Ok guys here we go a 1967 galaxie 500 convertible, This car was taken down to the frame, frame is completely redone and painted and everything replaced touching the frame, the bushings, ball joints, steering box,etc all down professionally, The interior is Powder Blue Ostrich Leather brand new still in plastic as you can see from the pictures, under the interior you see a brand new carpet dark blue for the floor, that is the good, the car is a little rough on the floor pans but the body panels are pretty decent as you can see from the pictures, this car can be decent but needs some work on the floor pans. I have posted many pictures i can part this car out easily for more than 2000, I prefer to sell complete but will part out if i dont get starting bid, Interior alone is worth more than 1000 and the frame is worth at least that to.. I have parted out many vehicles but i like to save the old beasts if they are salvagable. this car i have looked over real good it is missing the bumpers and one headlight inner bezel(buckets) it has both outer bezels , no taillights, no dashpad, I beleive that is all that is missing. i have taken pictures of everything but motor and tranny. Motor needs rebuilt number 3 smokes , and the heads one of them has a bent valve the tranny is unknown. what you see in the pictures is what you get. If the bid hits 2500 i will leave the flow master exaust or you may email me and we can work something out. I will test the top i have not got to that yet to see if the motor works but top is ok for a driver. Oh some handles are missing for the doors. there is no side chrome.I will test motor as soon as i get a chance. Any questions feel free to email me markbuehrer@gmail.com or call at 419-250-1418 I will answer all i can . Ford-sponsored survey says a third of Brits have snapped a 'selfie' while driving [w/videos]
Fri, 08 Aug 2014Talking on the phone while driving isn't advisable, and texting while driving is downright dangerous. Considering those truths, the fact that we even need to point this out this is incredibly disturbing: taking "selfies" while behind the wheel is exceptionally stupid. But, it's a thing that a third of 18- to 24-year-old British drivers have copped to doing, according to a new study from Ford.
Ford, through its Driving Skills for Life program, surveyed 7,000 smartphone owners from across Europe, all aged between 18 and 24, and found that young British drivers were more likely to snap a selfie while behind the wheel than their counterparts in Germany, France, Romania, Italy, Spain and Belgium.
According to the study, the average selfie takes 14 seconds, which, while traveling at 60 miles per hour, is long enough to travel over the length of nearly four football fields (the Ford study uses soccer fields, but we translated it to football, because, you know, America). That's an extremely dangerous distance to not be focused on the road.
Fitting Retirement: Grand Marquis last Mercury off the line
Wed, 05 Jan 2011The signs have come down and retail production ended back in October of 2010. Now, the very last Mercury model has rolled off the assembly line. This last Mercury somewhat fittingly takes the form of a Grand Marquis reporting for fleet duty. It was built at the St. Thomas plant in Ontario, Canada, which is the same facility that continues to produce the Ford Crown Victoria and Lincoln Town Car for fleet and livery duty.
St. Thomas' days are numbered, however, as the factory is slated to close on August 31. When it goes, the Panther platform is likely to follow. So long, and thanks for all the fish memories.

New York Mets outfielder turns spring training into his personal car show
Wed, Feb 24 2016New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes is known for his wide range of talents. He can hit for power, average, has good speed, and is solid in the field. His car collection is equally versatile and diverse, and it's been on display this week at spring training. Every day has brought a different car, and it has his teammates and the media atwitter. Cespedes rolled up Wednesday to the Mets facility in Port St. Lucie in a Lamborghini Aventador. It's black with blue trim. Anthony DiComo with MLB.com tweeted this: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. ESPN's Darren Rovell tweeted the Lambo has a custom exhaust that cost $80,000 and shoots out flames. Of course, that's already old news. His Alfa Romeo showed up today, too. Apparently Mets infielder Wilmer Flores has been driving it. That's an ultra-rare 8C Competizione, brought to you by Robert Brender of SNY.TV. This content is hosted by a third party. It's customized with gaudy wire wheels, red accents, and Cespedes' No. 52 on the hood. Subtle. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Only in this fleet would Monday's ride appear pedestrian. It was 'only' an F-250. It was raised on huge wheels, had a custom grille, and towered over that Maserati behind it. Jon Santucci of Scripps newspapers observed it. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. At this rate, we should probably skip Geneva and get credentialed for Mets spring training. Cespedes signed a three-year $75-million contract with the Mets in the off-season. He's also played for the Oakland Athletics, Boston Red Sox, and Detroit Tigers. Related Video: Image Credit: Getty Images Celebrities Design/Style Ford Lamborghini Performance baseball
