I am selling this car for my brother in law and is about the most original car that I have seen in a long time.

All the interior, drivetrain, paint, carpets, headliner, seats, door panels, trunk mat are all original and please look at my pictures. The only paint work every done on the car was the trunk lid was painted about 10 years ago and at that same time they rechromed the front and rear bumper. The rest of the paint and body are all original with no rust and in very good condition. The dual exhaust was replaced a few years back and the carburetor was also rebuild along with the brakes front and rear. Under the car is excellent condition with only very light surface rust that could be wired brushed and painted to look like new. This is a original car not restored that looks better than a lot restored car that I have seen in the past. I have been a body and paint man for over 40 years and have restored 100's of classic muscles cars and this about a good of original car that you will find. This car has always been garaged and was bought new in Madison NC and comes with the original key ring and both sets of original keys.

My brother in law bought this car from the original owners estate at the time of his death about 7 years ago and decided to sell it as he will be moving soon and won't have room for it inside and he not going to let it set outside. All the moldings and trim are in very good condition with only one bad spot being the molded dash pad at the speaker cover as seen in the pictures. I know pictures can fool you but this car is that nice and runs and drives like new.

If you need any information about this car please send me a message thru ebay (no emails) and if need to talk to me call me at (336)972-0599 and ask for Deat. If I do not answer please leave a message and I will call you back. The car is located in Winston Salem NC 27127 only minutes off I-40 and is very easy to get find. This car will be sold as is with no warranty. If you have any questions please ask before bidding and I will be glad to answer them for you.

There will be $500 due at the end of the auction (Pay Pal OK), and then remaining balance due in 7 days cash or certified funds. If paying day of pick-up bring cash. All checks must clear before title will be released. I reserve the right to end auction at any time due to this car is for sale locally as well. Ford Focus refresh shots leak ahead of Geneva

Sun, 23 Feb 2014

In case you haven't been paying attention, Ford has been gradually redesigning its lineup to sport a familiar face. The Aston Martin-inspired grille shape debuted on the Fusion and was soon applied to the Fiesta. Even the front end of the new Mustang takes its cues from the same, and we're sure other models will soon be made-over to fall in line. The next on the docket? The Focus.
Set to be unveiled in little over a week at the Geneva Motor Show, the revised Focus has leaked out a tad early, revealing a mild facelift that bears that same trapezoidal grille with horizontal slats. Along with the new grille, the headlights, lower fascia and hood appear to have been reshaped. Around back there appears to be a new rear bumper and taillights, but otherwise the shape remains largely the same as the current model.
Expect the updates to be applied to all bodystyles offered around the world, including the hatchback, wagon and sedan. The engine lineup is expected to carry over largely unchanged, though the plug-in hybrid powertrain from the C-Max Energi could port over to the revised Focus. Plus Ford seems to have taken the opportunity to spruce things up in the cabin some. Check it out in the image gallery above and watch this space for the official announcement as we pack our bags for Switzerland.

2015 Ford Mustang specs revealed, GT to pack 435 HP

Thu, 17 Jul 2014

The 2015 Ford Mustang sounds great so far - at least on paper. Ford has just announced specs for the latest version of the iconic pony car in Dearborn, telling Autoblog that it will pump out as much as 435 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque from its 5.0-liter V8.
Those gaudy figures power the naturally aspirated GT model, and they easily eclipse the "more than" 420 hp and 390 lb-ft that Ford originally estimated.
The 2.3-liter turbocharged EcoBoost four-cylinder makes 310 hp and 320 lb-ft, and it's the first turbo Mustang since the 1986 SVO.

Ford fixing 130k vehicles in three recalls

Wed, Oct 28 2015

Ford is issuing three new safety campaigns that cover a total of 130,801 vehicles in North America, but the company has no reports of accidents, injuries, or fires from any of these issues. The largest of these campaigns covers 128,823 examples of the 2009-2010 Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX that are currently registered or originally sold in rust-prone areas of North America, including 110,636 in the US. On these crossovers, "corrosion under the reinforcement brackets where the fuel tank is mounted" can potentially result in a fuel leak. To fix the issue, dealers will inspect the tank and will repair or replace it as necessary. The affected locations are: Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin; and the Canadian provinces of New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, and Quebec. Ford is also recalling 1,906 North American examples of the 2016 Mustang, including 1,900 in the US, because of possible damage to some components during shipping to the factory. On the affected pony cars, "dealers will replace front and rear seat belt assemblies, rear seat buckle assemblies, and child tethers," the company says in its statement. Finally, the smallest campaign is for 72 units of the 2016 Ford E-Series cutaway and chassis cab in North America, including 65 in the US. On these, the trailer brakes don't activate when pressing the brake pedal, and dealers need to update the powertrain control module software.
