1966 Ford Galaxie 390 V8 Automatic Daily Driver --clean Title-- No Reserve on 2040-cars
Denver, Colorado, United States
Here is my 1966 Ford Galaxie with the big block 390, automatic transmission and power steering. I have owned this vehicle for 10 years and have a clear title and it did just pass the smog test here in Colorado.Everything mechanically works great, starts right up, power steering works great and brakes just fine. Both of my sons drove it during their high school days.
In the past ten years I have had the complete exhaust system done, upper control arm bushings replaced, water pump, heater core (heater works great), tires and battery. In the last 100 miles I replaced the brake pads on all four wheels, oil change and tune up. It has the original AM radio that works most of the time and original clock that runs a little slow. I would have no problem using it as a daily driver, everything electrical work as they should (head lights, brake lights, turn signals and interior lights). I even installed electronic ignition in it.The floor boards and trunk pan have NO RUST, just the rear quarter panels. Now the bad. As you can see from the pictures the interior needs some work. There is some surface rust and some rust through in the rear quarter panels. Vehicle is for sale local so I reserve the right to close this auction early. Please no scammers, I do not have time for you. If you have any more questions feel free to contact me through eBay via e-mail. |

Are you a new Ford Mustang SVO? [w/video]
Fri, 16 May 2014When Ford announced that its 2015 Mustang would arrive with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, three letters came to mind: SVO. While Ford hasn't said a word regarding the rebirth of a Mustang SVO model, this latest set of spy shots shows us something very, very interesting. Allow us to explain.
The Mustang prototype in these photos looks very similar to the GT500 test cars we've spotted before - same bulging hood, aggressive front fascia and air vents aft of the front wheels. What's different, however, is around back. Have a look at the exhaust, and note that instead of the GT500's usual quad pipes, two of the exhaust outlets have been capped off.
Our spies point out that these exhaust outlets could be closed for some sort of emissions testing or another engineering reason, but it's also important to note that the engine and exhaust notes of this car sound completely different from earlier GT500 prototypes. We've got a video below that compares the two.
Vaughn Gittin Jr. takes his dog for a drift
Tue, 09 Sep 2014
Vaughn Gittin Jr. spends a great deal of his workday going sideways, but he's usually alone in the endeavor. For a guy that is clearly a dog lover, we imagine that can get a bit lonely.
That won't be a problem for Gittin in this latest video, which features the racer hanging out with his good pal Brody (a dog) and everyone's favorite hot hatch, the Ford Fiesta ST.
