This was the love vehicle of Ron and Helen. Ron has passed away and Helen is now in an assisted living situation so we have been asked to sell their car.
It is a 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 two door sedan.
It has slightly less than 103,000 miles and has always been garaged, except for now as it is under a car cover behind a business.
Originally sold in Arizona, it has spent most of its life in California. We believe Ron was just the 2nd owner.
It is in good/very good condition. The paint, not original,is excellent save for a few pits. Close to the original brown with a little more metallic flake. The dash appears to have been recovered. The seats may be original.
It is a 2 door sedan with hand crank windows and wind wings.
It has a 330 horsepower 390 cubic inch V-8. We know that it has a new fuel pump. It gets exercised regularly.
There are small pits in the paint. The seal around the rear window needs to be replaced. There is some sort of bondo in the channel above the right front corner of the windshield.
There are no seat belts. The glove box interior is missing. It has an AM radio but may need a new antenna. No air conditioning. We do not know if the heater works.
On Jun-24-13 at 18:47:10 PDT, seller added the following information:
I believe one of our readers is correct that it is a 300 hp 390. Sorry, I'm not much of a car guy.

Ford jumps back in the water with marinized 6.2L V8
Wed, 06 Nov 2013Nameplates like the Mercury Mariner and Lincoln Navigator aside, Ford hasn't offered a marine engine in over two decades. But through a new partnership with one of the biggest names in the business, the Dearborn-based automaker is dipping its proverbial toes back in the water.
Announced yesterday at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, the new partnership between Ford Component Sales and Indmar Marine Engines will see the 6.2-liter V8 from the F-150 SVT Raptor and F-Series Super Duty marinized for use in boats.
The largest privately owned inboard gasoline marine engine manufacturer in the world, Indmar has been in the business for 43 years, and figures the Ford V8 will be just what watersport enthusiasts are looking for to tow waterskiers and wakeboarders to their hearts' content.
2014 Ford Fiesta Titanium
Mon, 28 Oct 2013You might not be interested in owning a subcompact (B-segment) hatchback for $20,000. Let's be clear from the get go here: there are any number of reasonable arguments for staying away from the highest-content versions of these small cars. Ford's player in the B-segment arena is the newly updated 2014 Fiesta, and the Titanium trim represents the most luxurious instantiation of the model. We recently were loaned a Fiesta Titanium for a week, whose final sticker price hit $20,390, with navigation being the only standalone option added to the bottom line. By way of comparison, the most basic version of the all new, one-segment-up Mazda3 hatchback costs $19,740 with delivery and destination accounted for, and no options added on.
Hold on to that thought for a moment, we'll get back to it.
